Attorney General Eric Holder has pledged not to allow the release of dangerous detainees in the United States if they are found not guilty in federal court or if their case is thrown out on a technicality.
Holder made the assurances in a written response to a question posed by Sen. Jon Kyl (R-Ariz.) obtained by The Hill. The 55-page document provided answers to questions from several senators on the Judiciary Committee in advance of a Wednesday oversight hearing on Justice Department policies and practices.

The list, ping
They have no conscience.
What a putz!
Yeah, they’ll put them on a plane for Pakistan so they can receive a hero’s welcome.
Setting the stage. Once all the players are in place, all hell is going to break out. Media circus. Lawyer circus. Muslim circus. Protest circus. Terrorist circus?
Military tribunal, bullet to the back of the head, buried with the rest of the trash at Gitmo. Much easier solution.
I do not know how they sleep at night, but, their action’s keep me awake.
So, where would they put these folks, find a different country, oh wait they don’t want any, oh wait leave them at GITMO, oops nope they are closing GITMO, I can see it now, they will send here to Ft. Leavenworth.
These guys have a tin ear, end of story.
Quite well. They think they are wise and well loved.
But Holder/Obummer won't
No, Jamaica seems like the recent trendy place to send them.
We are affording them American civil rights...if the case collapses....which is what I anticipate...then what? A second attempt a year later, and another collapse? At the conclusion of the second episode...I don’t see how this can go forward, and they have to be released. If no country will accept them...since they have been given American civil rights...they will likely stay here.
This entire case is about “show”, and nothing else. New Yorkers will come to view this as a CIA-failure because of the interrogation and torture used...which made the case impossible to progress in court. They will blame the Bush administration.
Look at the timing of this. The case will start sometime the end of next year probably and likely fall apart in the end of 2011....just as the presidential campaign starts up. You get a couple of journalists...especially Time and Newsweek...to blow the torture side of this and blame the Bush administration....and you pick up all these extra votes in New York.
Why else have it there? Folks in Texas would have easily accepted this...as folks in Bama or Georgia. They picked New York for the show part of this...and to give them a personal touch.
Yeah, they’ll be released back to their homes in the Middle East to plan and execute more attacks against us. But hey, as long as we don’t blame islam and lose our multiculturalism, it’s all good. Who cares if a few — or a few thousand — American civilians are killed, let alone servicemembers? Zero, Holder, and the other obamanations certainly don’t.
This guy makes you want Janet Reno back.
Attorney General Eric Holder has pledged not to allow the release of dangerous detainees in the United States when they are found not guilty in federal court or when their case is thrown out on a technicality. Fixed it.
So he is planning that they will be released? Sounds like a perfect plan for a pro-terrorist administration.
Maybe Obama will bow to them when he apologizes for all the “torture” they had to endure. They will be released by to Pakistan where they can continue to abide by their peaceful religion.
There is no way the trial and appeal will be over in 3 years and the chances of this frikkin, moron still being AG is 0!!!
How do these people sleep at night?
who gives a @$%^ how they sleep at night, it is the rest of america that iam concerned about.
They just must hate america.
These cases will not be cleared until well after these anti Americans are gone. Some if not all will be thrown out or found not guilty. There will be no way to stop them from being released in this country once they are here. The worst part of it all is this sets a precedence for all future enemy combatants.
Well, that is obvious, now who believes the lies of holder??
