I don't care who you are or what your reasoning is. Your siding with the maistream media against Palin is doing nothing to help Republicans or Conservatism in general. You are hurting your own cause. Unless you are a DU troll. Or a liberal Republican who has no idea what the heck you are even talking about.
Ani Palin comments (such as "shes not fit to be President") should be seen as trolling and should not be tolerated on Free Republic, any conservative web site or any conservative setting. While I am not calling for anyone to be purged from this website. I, and others are going to keep a list of Palin hating trolls so the rest of you know who has credibility and who doesn't. who is a troll, and who isn't.
We will know your posting history. We know where your opinons are coming from. The Palin bashing is getting old. And the cat calls will likely increase for Jim Robinson to do some fall cleaning if this continues.
So, please. stop inflicting damage on conservatism.

Maybe the reason Christie and McDonnell did not call upon Sarah Palin for an endorsement is that they did not need her help, whereas Doug Hoffman did need her help.
Thus it seems logical to me that Sarah Palin needs to spend her political capital judiciously. She should use her capital where it can have the most effect.
When you also wrote in your October FR vanity: “””I don’t care if you vote Deeds, Corzine, or vote independent. or don’t vote at all.”””, this indicates to me you have a limited knowledge of the political process. I would suggest you do more reading and less posting of vanities. You will sleep better at night.

It appears our party has not learned its lesson.
First Chris Christie rejected Palin’s help. and now it appears Bob McDonnell is doing the same thing. There are some very powerfull people in the GOP who are trying to pull things over on us. Sure, they may say all the right things. But open your eyes and pay close attention to what is happening.
I am calling on all Freepers in Virginia to vote against Chris Christie and Bob McDonnell.
this is our party. we have to send a strong message and hit the liberal GOP leadership right between the legs as far as I am concerned.
I don’t care if you vote Deeds, Corzine, or vote independent. or don’t vote at all.
but do not play along with these losers. Palin is the most independent minded politician in America. They use some internal poll numbers to advance the lie that she turns off independent voters. Look and study her history in Alaska. She owned independent voters because she is independent. She is one of the folks.

Of course most conservatives like Sarah Palin - her values and the actions she took as Governor of Alaska ARE conservative values and actions.
Of course she is qualified to be President of the United States. (much MORE qualified than the current resident of the WH )
But that does not mean at this early date we conservatives have to be convinced that Sarah Palin is the BEST conservative candidate for President in 2012.
I’m a long way from being at that point.
Of course we get tired of seeing the liberalisimos and the McCain factions bashing Sarah Palin and don’t like to see that happen here too. (I haven’t seen much of it here - so must be missing something...)
But the essence of Conservativism is THOUGHT vs. EMOTIONALISM.
We are conservatives because WE CAN THINK, REASON, and MAKE INFORMED DECISIONS.
The key word is “informed”.....What is Free Republic if not THE PLACE to come to in order to become informed about both issues and people?
The MSM no longer provide truth, facts, information (though you can glean some bits of information from them). It is PROPAGANDA. Big difference.
I am about FREEDOM and TRUTH. Most here are as well.
Your post, and your intent, as understandable as they might be, intend to deny both these vital attributes of this wonderful haven known as Free Republic.
We need ALL conservatives, many moderates and LOTS of independents, (and God’s help) in order to roll back the nightmare that we are now enduring, both in 2010 and in 2012.
No ONE person is the be-all and end-all of that cause.
Conservative leaders have emerged and are emerging across the country - my view is to look for them, to encourage them, and to watch what they are DOING as well as what they are SAYING.....with plenty of time to decide on which one to support in 2012.
Sarah Palin is one of these. But she is not the only one.
I like Sarah Palin but I’d spread vicious rumors about her before I’d submit to decrees of what I can and can’t say by someone like you.

If those of us who love Palin are not able to counter complaints, debate or even attacks against Palin on FR, how do you expect to be able to do it against the media and the public?
This is ridiculous! One thing you should have learned in the three years you’ve been coming here is if you threaten or try to tell a Freeper who/what/when or how they can say something and that Freeper will push hard.
I know of one political site where any form of descent is met with an automatic ban - it’s DU. I sure as hell do not want FR to go down the same path as they have. That there are some Freepers that would want to see that is very troubling.
I think we can all agree that Mrs. Palin has been smeared and pillored mecilessly by the press. But as a political figure she will be under the same scrutiny as all others, ideally for her positions and comments.
You have a lot of people who will rush to defend a conservative that they see being mistreated by the press. As I'm sure you realize sometimes FReepers can be a little overzealous in their defense.
On the other hand, some FReepers will try and counterbalance the Palin mania by bringing a little reality back to the discussion. Of course, some of them will get a little overzealous as well.
Once the sides are set the war is on. It's like nuclear disarmament. You first.
The Palin bashers have just as much right to post as the Palin Mania Lust Club with their constant Palin, Queen of All Thing Conervative, Warrior Princess, RINO Hunter, Savior of Democracy, Defender of the Republic pictures.
Both sides go to far. The personal attacks go too far. But honestly, I think that the Palin worshipers with their unrealistic expectations may do her even more discredit than those who dislike her.

You got that right. I can’t stand to watch them for more than a few minutes at a time. Just wanted to see what the other side was saying. My husband and I love Sarah and can’t stand to see anyone trash her. We’re anxiously waiting for their heads to explode when Sarah becomes President. Btw, I’m buying her book this week for an early Christmas present to myself.

Currently, I like Michelle Bachman more than Palin. I’m more impressed by her. I’m really interested in Mike Pence. I’ve always liked Fred Thompson.
There are other republicans out there, and we do have a primary before we pick our nominee.
I’ll wait until the primaries and their debates before I pick my candidate.
