If only they would apply 1/10th the scrutiny they do to Sarah to Obama/Frank/Dodd/Emmanuel, etc., ...keep dreaming

five nights at the $707.29-per-night Essex House luxury hotel ...With air fare, the cost to Alaska was well over $3,000.

Uh, 707*5=3536. So, the bill, "including airfare" to Alaska was less than the room alone.

We all know the MSM is going to try and destroy Palin. Only people who are mindless and have no regard for true objectivity will care.

I wouldn't be too concered about this because the MSM credibility is not what it use to be.

We have to fight them, point out their deceptions and move on...

I can only imagine what they'd find if they ever decided to fact check Joe 'Plugs' Biden.

With air fare, the cost to Alaska was well over $3,000.

The White House is refusing to tell how much this little excursion with his wife cost the American people. Considering that last months joyride and Air Force One photo-op over the Statue of Liberty and Ground Zero cost us about $250,000 (or more), we can safely assume that this trip would cost at least that.

When Fearless Leader and his fugly wife go off on their little 'data nights' the AP, and all the rest of the fawning media, fall all over themselves to cover this touching and beautiful event.

If that is the best AP can do with their team of experts, it looks like one of the most accurate books ever.

This is easy to understand.

McCain and staff wanted Palin to “shake things up.” It gave them press and more importantly, contributions, from people like us. The great unwashed of the republican party.

But no more than that. She was supposed to shut up and be a “trophy” VP candidate and no more. Except someone forgot to tell Sarah.

She approached this like a real job; a real task to accomplish. So she jumps in with both feet, with her “minders” expected to allow her to only dip in her big toe. All while swooning over how honored she was to be on Senator McCain’s ticket. LOL

And the McCain/Romneybots got scared. They didn’t expect what they got. Hence, the moves to stomp down on her and keep her in her “place” lest she got some big-headed ideas.

You go girl!

And when I get time, I’m going to research how many “roots” Mr. Romney has with the investment banks on Wall Street. So we can know who his cronies are. heh

(hit my Send button too soon)

The other thing is, it’s imperative that everyone understands how MASSIVE McCain’s ego is. While he appreciated the fringe benefits of Palin, don’t for a moment think it didn’t piss him off royally...the attention Palin got.

He was drawing 300 people per appearance, when he appeared alone. With Palin, they were 3,000 - 30,000.

The reason he can’t criticize her outwardly is that every poll from the election proves he would have lost in a landslide without Sarah.

Really a sad commentary on the state of Journalism in the USA when you have to fact check the fact checkers.

The original AP article is here:

Read it and ask yourselves if it’s a hit piece or not. I think the answer is obvious.

The Associated Press got an advance copy of Sarah Palin's book, Going Rogue, and assigned eleven reporters, apparently, to try to find errors in it. The eleven collaborated on an article titled "FACT CHECK: Palin's book goes rogue on some facts."

These morons and dregs could better spend their time fact checking our President, or, better still, getting access to the fundamental information.

The real story is the unprecedented lack of openness by our President in connection with his kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, files from his years as an Illinois state senator, his Illinois State Bar Association records, any baptism records and adoption records, not to mention his sources of funding.

We know how much Sarah paid for a dress, but nothing, nothing about our sitting president. Fools, all!

Nothing new here. I bet there squads of lib reporters who just can’t wait to ask Palin, like they did Dubya, who the hall monitor in the palace of the high mucky muck of Absurdistan is. Then if she doesn’t know, they’ll gleefully print the news about how ignorant she is. But they’ll never ask lib candidates the same questions.
