Words like “conservative” and “liberal” mean different things in different situations. If we were living in Australia we’d be called “liberals”, and if we were living in Russia and happened to be communists we’d be called “conservatives”. Let’s not get our panties in a knot over nothing.

This might have been the case a year ago. But, now, with 0bama in the WH, and on an incessant Apology Tour, we (America) are now viewed as cowardly and impotent. Because of that change in perception, these barbaric SOB’s don’t have to hide. They no longer have to ‘blend in’ to be successful in their mission.
This is a prime example. The US Army didn’t see fit to take on this issue, afraid of the potential backlash if they weren’t PC enough. The end result: 14 killed and dozens wounded.
And, they were all murdered by an islamic jihadi terrorist with an eye on martyrdom and his eternal reward.
It’s time to wake up to the insanity that is islam. It is NOT a religion. It is a murderous cult driven by the mad rantings of a depraved false prophet as written in their playbook, the koran.

The word wasn’t thrown out there randomly. It is a blatant attempt to tie conservatives to terrorists.

And that is why I feel a tad bit lonely here.
I wish there were more Reactionaries, who really wanted to turn the sociopolitical clock back to a time of more limited government, that is more Constitutionally oriented, and fiscally conservative; and based upon personal liberty and responsibility.
But, I'll settle for being in the midst of a crowd of Conservatives and Libertarians...it's good company.

Wanting to “conserve” does not make one a “conservative.” If that were the case, king obuma wanting to conserve Leninism and recreate a Bolshevik October revolution could be labeled “conservative.”

According to a federal source familiar with the investigation, had Nidal Hasan been a classic terrorist like the 9/11 hijackers or the London subway bombers, he would have hid his religion, masked his beliefs, blended in, followed the guidance in the al Qaeda terrorist hand books which directs would-be Jihadists to keep secrets and conceal information even with the closest people where deceiving the enemies is not easy. Instead, Hasan made no attempt to hide his religion or his conservative Muslim ideology which is exactly why some experts are convinced Nidal Hasan is not a terrorist.
Spinning the meaning of words is so confusing.
