Eight years after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, mastermind, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, is being returned to New York to face civilian criminal charges in federal court. This is akin to bringing a child molester to the circus.
Mohammed originally faced a military war crimes tribunal under the Bush Administration, but the Obama Administration made the decision to try Mohammed in civilian court, affording him all the rights of a US citizen. This decision may spell disaster to the prosecution. Under civilian criminal law, there is a right to a speedy trial, the 8th Amendment right against cruel and unusual punishment, right to have an attorney, and so on which may come into question due to water boarding, questioning without legal representation and a 6 year detention prior to adjudication.

I would bet that the jury is filled with bleeding heart liberals. Remember,,,,,in every trial, there’s always the chance that he could be set free. Slim chance here, but it could still happen.
Just wait until the sheik’s ACLU lawyers get him released on a technicality.
The Kenyan will applaud. America, not so much.

Not only will they be set free, most of the proof will not be submittable in a Federal court, that would be in a Military court. Our C.I.A. men and women will be skewered. The real goal isn’t bringing them to Federal court. The real goal, they want Booosh.
This is being done now by 0 and crew to get Hasan off the front page.

Exactly - this is the standard modus operandi of the radical left. They draw attention away from one of their atrocities, by starting another one. Been going on well before the Clinton regime. Regardless, this sucks and is a direct representation of what Obama thinks about America and the meaning of the Constitution.
2012 cannot come soon enough....
So he’s a criminal? What’d he do? Smoke a cigarette indoors in New York?
I think that a non-citizen, acting as an agent of a foreign government or an NGA, who wages war agaisnt the USA, and is captured out-of-uniform, is an infiltrator and a spy and should be dealt with as just that.
I would add, that there will be other jurists who will be intimidated by the fact that the guy on trial is an Al Qaeda terrorist.
Never forget the OJ jury!
I hope it's not sacriligeous, but I'm thinking of Samson being brought to the temple of the Philistines
If I had my way
If I had my way in this wicked world
If I had my way
I would tear this old building down

It’s hard to believe a President can hate his own country.
But if in fact you were a President who hated America, what would you do differently from what he is doing?
The security to protect him is going to be very expensive, and it we are going to pay the tab.
I would say that the odds of at least one jury member being an ultra left wing libtard willing to vote “not guilty” just to make Bush look bad are extremely high.
Hussein up to his old tricks again. He cannot make a good decision.
“We have an announcement as well: we will fight with every remaining breath in our bodies both their bringing KSM and the rest of the 9/11 conspirators to federal courtrooms within walking distance of where they slaughtered our loved ones. And whomever finds Manhattans federal courthouse near Ground Zero a sentimental favorite for the 9/11 trials is a damn fool and they ALL ought to be fired. Pass that message on, far, wide, and up and down the chain-of-command.”

Every damn day Hussein does something else to bring down this country. Every damn day!
