What's the old saying? A conservative is a liberal with a daughter in high school.
I have said before that if the pro-abortion crowd was interested in making sure that every woman had access to an abortion they should pass legislation that no Doctor could be paid for or charge for providing abortions. This would take the money making element out of the equation. I am sure that if these abortionists weren’t making a killing (no pun intended) off of providing abortions, the number of abortions would be very limited. As it stands now women use abortion as a contreceptive.
It angers me that the so-called choice advocates are not really concerned with the health and welfare of the mother. They have become so hard hearted that they are only concerned in making sure that all pregnant women should be able and encouraged to have abortions.
If they were really concerned with the welfare of women they would want abortion to be the very last resort.
They would encourage young women to abstain from having sex while in high school.
They would want women to be fully educated before making the decision to have an abortion. This would include showing them an ultrasound, giving them options other than abortion such as adoption, what they can expect later on such as mental health issues, drug and alcohol dependency, and of course the side affects of the abortion itself.
Instead, they continue to fight any legislation that would include the very things that help women.
