Now a lot of these search engines seem to filter out “adult site” hits, including for persian kitten. I’m really surprised that LaTeX would get any type of adult site hit, but I was surprised about the persian cat, too. Once someone discovers any adult sites it seems hard to avoid them. Some are actually quite amusing. I have to say, though, that I’ve never yet (THANK GOD) run across any child porn sites and hope that to be true when I die.
Now, I’m going to have to do a search on LaTeX... and see what I discover that has nothing to do with Math and Printing.. LOL
This was in the mid 1990s ... It was a different world, then. The search (at least on google and bing) is not as racy as it was then on altavista.
