My beloved Eureka Ca looking west toward Costco, cross street is Broadway (101) at Wabash. Notice the absence of snow

JJ could not have had a worse race at Texas. I am rooting for Mark too, but a shame JJ was taken out that way.

I met Mark in the paddock area when he was helping with driving for the Roush Mustang GTO team at the 24 hours of Daytona. He seemed like a really nice guy. I also met Al Holbert, the Porsche 962 driver before he was killed in a plane crash going from qualifyig to see his son's little league baseball game. He seemed very serious, but respectful and polite to fans. Dereck Bell was very funny. Craig T Nelson the actor/driver was also very funny when I met him. A J Foyt, what a bass turd. When they run in Indy Cars, theirs is the only team I actually root against.

Dale Earnhart was one driver I wanted to meet, but never did.

LOL. On the upside, I can take a peek at the cams first thing to decide if I want to drink coffee at the ranch and drive amongst fools when the road is white, or beat the plows out and drink coffee at work. In truth, it may be the only upside of arising at 0400 every day. I’m a lot less punctual in the summer :o)

Only time we have white roads is when Tri-County Narcotics does an over aggressive pit maneuver. :)

You only need to exercise your iTunes muscles. I think I could make it to Reno with all the Brooks & Dunn I’ve got.

BTW, my daughter, bless her heart, introduced me to Rascal Flatts. I have some great kids.

Homeschool!

Well...can you tell us about the surroundings there & your experiances?

The track at Avondale is actually quite a ways away from here I’ve never personally been to a race there...cep’t passing by on the way to your neck of the woods.:)

Do you motorhome or get a hotel?
