I don't know who the Army fears most. Muslims or the Press.

As an Army vet, with a son who’s an Iraq vet, I have to say that my confidence in the Army officer corps is seriously shaken.

I can’t see Casey’s face on TV without thinking “who are you, and can I trust you?”

I had long wondered why people on the Left had the propensity to speak more positively about people who would slit their throats than they do about their own country, which affords them more freedom and opportunity than anywhere else. David Horowitz has answered that question thoroughly and convincingly in his Unholy Alliance. Where I felt bewildered and confused, I now feel crystal clear. Unholy Alliance is such a great book.

It begins with the leftist movements at the beginning of the 20th Century, and works its way up to the present day, exploring the anti-American attitude of these movements in detail. Horowitz shows that the enemies of the US back then are largely the same group today, operating under the same misperceptions, making the same mistakes, and pursuing the same impossible utopia.

Who is Bruce E. Zielsdorf ?

And the base commander will later back away from this quote:

“I would say this in my view did not have to do with religion,” Cone said in a “town hall” televised Monday night on a Killeen-area PBS affiliate.

"Major Nidal Malik Hasan, who allegedly killed 11 people before being shot and wounded by police at Fort Hood, had said Muslims should "rise up" and attack Americans in retaliation for the US war in Iraq, a former army colleague said."

"He said Muslims should stand up and fight the aggressor and that we should not be in the war in the first place." He said that Major Hasan said he was "happy" when a US soldier was killed in an attack on a military recruitment centre in Arkansas in June. An American convert to Islam was accused of the shootings.

Col Lee alleged that other officers had told him that Major Hasan had said "maybe people should strap bombs on themselves and go to Times Square" in New York."

Amazon Book Review:
"Vastly Illuminating!" September 25, 2004
By Kat Bakhu

"I had long wondered why people on the Left had the propensity to speak more positively about people who would slit their throats than they do about their own country, which affords them more freedom and opportunity than anywhere else. David Horowitz has answered that question thoroughly and convincingly in his Unholy Alliance. Where I felt bewildered and confused, I now feel crystal clear. Unholy Alliance is such a great book.

Horowitz shows that the enemies of the US back then are largely the same group today, operating under the same misperceptions, making the same mistakes, and pursuing the same impossible utopia.

Individual chapters are included on the Patriot Act (I was persuaded that it is a GOOD thing); the democratic flip-flop on Iraq once G.W. Bush implemented what they agreed with Clinton needed to be done; the driving components of the current anti-war movement; as well as chapters on individual personalities who are major spokespeople of the Left. Horowitz covers a lot of ground, and he covers it concisely and clearly. Unholy Alliance is richly informative without ever being boring or plodding.

This book is so illuminating that I simply cannot do justice to it here. I love people who reason so clearly that they help me get my own reasoning clear. Horowitz is just that type of person! In the terrain of mindless clichés (no-blood-for-oil, etc.), he is a breath of real fresh air."

I don’t understand what incentive anybody has in denying and covering up that which is obvious in this crime, but it seems as if that is all any person in a position of authority in this Administration can persuade themselves and their subordinates to perform.

If it is the intent of the entire chain of command to completely undermine all faith, trust, and confidence the public might be able to muster in their abilities and intentions, they have worked well.

Extraordinary.

So all those witnesses (who could’ve been killed themselves) who heard the jihadist say Allah Abkar were all hallucinating? They didn’t really hear it. It was what they wanted to hear because they hate muslims so much. Yeah, ok it makes more sense that they all lied or imagined it than that they all actually heard it.

All those witnesses who heard gunshots coming from the grassy knoll and/or saw people behind the fence were imagining that too.

First hand eyewitness accounts are not speculation. That's why jihadi Hasan's lectures, or e-mail exchanges with jihadi imams aren't referred to as speculative.

"I don't know who the Army fears most. Muslims or the Press."

They far their commie masters.

... without audiovisual documentation of the incident, it is still an issue to be addressed through the investigative process....

Casey is just an Politically Correct, @$$ sucking twit. And this guy is commanding our Army!!??

I doubt we have audiovisual documentation of the actual shooting by Hasan, either. Does that mean he didn't do it, despite the scores of witnesses?

Before the final report is finally published, the soldiers on scene will recant what their own lyin' eyes and ears saw and heard and it will be determined what was really shouted by Hasan was, "All over here to the bar!", just as he opened fire.

I guess we'll have to let Major Hasan go and maybe give him an apology for his inconvenience? Oh, and maybe Obama will also tug his forelock while publicly apologizing to the Muslim World for the terrible misunderstanding? Don't discount it.

In an interview that aired Monday, Foster, who refused to discuss the incident in a news conference Sunday, said he couldn't be certain the shooter said those exact words, explaining that “with that much adrenaline, you tend to forget things.”

THIS IS A FLAT OUT LIE

Either he said it or he didn’t, and there were witnesses.

Generals these days, seriously.

Casey can’t really say anything that would allow Hasan’s lawyers to call for a mistrial. So I don’t blame him for being non-specific about details. I blame him for his diversity crap.

It was a liberal movie, and I did not like it, but certainly there was a scene in "JFK" which sounds exactly like the kabosh they are trying to put on this. I remember all the initial reports coming in to families in Utah, others, who clearly stated this jerk yelled "Allah Ahkbar". Now look at them trying to cover it up (they are also very silent about this visit Hasan got from a fellow Islamist to his apartment):

-"How many shots did you hear?"

-"Four to six."

"Impossible! ....You heard echoes!! ECHOES. We have three bullets and three shots that came from the Book Depository. That's all we'll say."

-"No, sir. I saw a man shooting from behind that fence. What are you going to do? You go out there and get him!"

-"That's taken care of! You only heard three shots, and don't discuss this with anyone. No one. Understand?"

-(Which is strange 'cause it's less than 20 minutes after the assassination.)

"Get her out of here."

-(I knew something was crooked as a dog's hind leg.)

“The supposed shouted quote is still a matter of speculation and under investigation by CID,” Bruce E. Zielsdorf said. “Lt. Gen. Cone is correct in saying he'd heard such reports, but without audiovisual documentation of the incident, it is still an issue to be addressed through the investigative process, and we will do nothing to jeopardize that effort.”

I believe the wounded warrior who said, when asked, on Camera, with his doctor by his side, said "Yes", he shouted "Allah Akbar". This was guy that the "shouter" shot. I do believe he was there.
