White House communications director Anita Dunn will step down from her post at the end of the month and Dan Pfeiffer, her deputy, will take over, according to sources familiar with the move.
Dunn, a longtime Democratic media consultant, took over the job on an interim basis earlier this year when Ellen Moran abruptly left the post to take a job at the Commerce Department. Dunn will return to Squier Knapp Dunn, the consulting firm where she is a partner, but will remain as a consultant to the White House on the communications and strategic matters.

****She’s not going anywhere & will still be advising the White House...***
Obama’s form of *Time Out* - she’s just been sent to her room ...doing some sort of diabolical homework.
Another sleight of hand - like Ayers, Jeremiah White, Van Jones etc., hiding under it or riding on the bus....no difference.
“Call me, Anita!”
Does this mean the red phone will go?
So when can we expect her tell all book about the corruption in the Obama White House? Oh ... that’s just a Bush defector thing? Nevermind.
Good-bye Ms. Dunn!! Wherever you are.
LOL.
She’s on the way out as her husbund is on the way in..
not gone - just changing her office - she has a long history with the dems
...will remain as a consultant to the White House on the communications and strategic matters.

People, I hate to tell you this, but she’s not going anywhere. They are just rearranging chairs to keep the target moving.
I would love to know what Van Jones is doing right now. I’ll bet he is still involved with the WH in some capacity.
Obama took a page from Clinton. Remember how the Clintons were always getting caught accepting contributions from individuals from whom they should not have accepted? They would come out with some statement about how the money would be returned, but no one ever followed up on it. I’d be willing to bet that no more than 2% was ever returned.
“Consultant”
Means she is still being paid by taxpayers and still has input to the administation.
So what’s changed other than she doesn’t have an office in the west wing?
It’s gonna get crowded working out of John Podesta’s basement.
Comrade! Thanks for the ping to the other, now locked, thread. It is a beautiful day in Beck land.
