Political Correctness is simply capitulation with untruth.
Stated another way, PC is the suppression of truth in favor of lies.
They will PUNISH you for telling the truth, making those who capitulate complicit with the lies, and therefore unable to, with a clear conscience, call anyone else on their lies either.
And let's be clear (truthful) about who 'THEY' are.
'THEY' are the elected representatives and their appointed cronies who comprise the United States government.
