Then, remember, when Castro was such a hero and when he openly praised Communism and took absolute power, there were some gasps (from my folks and other conservatives) but he took control without a bobble. Braindead people—or in cahoots, whichever.

In my county the biggest single employer in the county is the government schools! And..Attached to all that school money are the business that service the schools and their employees.
Even my dentist ( of all people) and his 5 employees depend on the government school dental insurance that is brought into the dental office!
So....When government takes over larger and larger percentages of the GDP, there are more and more votes even within the private business community to feed the tax eating beast.
What more can we do? We have protested, voiced our opinion,called our Congressmen/women,wrote our Congressmen/women, attended Townhall meetings, went to Wshington, D.C., all to no avail. obama and Nancy pissed in our faces Saturday night. They, via their votes and the way it was handled, said that we could, as far as they were concerned, go to hell. We don’t give a damn what you think. We will do do as Please.
Look for something along the same line to happen in the Senate. Don’t be fooled by the,”It is DOA” talk. It is merely a ruse to get us to let our guard down.
But, upon further contemptation, knowing the contempt they hold us in,I don’t believe that they care if we do or we don’t let our guard down.
When the time comes for them to act, they will do as they please and to hell with how we feel or what we say.
It would behoove us to make a decision as to what we will do after it is passed and signed by obama.

- Bingo. The tighter the reins Pelosi and Co. implement in the form of ever newer and bigger taxes, the more likely companies will ship their work overseas to India, China, Korea and Mexico. Far far lower wages, excruciatingly long work hours, and lower age-to-work (12 year olds doing factory work) laws.
And far less environmental regulations.
The average, spoiled and complacent American is in for a huge wake up slap. And I’m not going to have much sympathy.

Indeed. One could make the argument that many in our own government hold the chant "Death to America" in their hearts.
Yes, and when you add in the amnesty bill mentioned on another FR thread today, I’m sure they will sneak that through in the middle of the night, then we are done for (at least as far as solving problems at the ballot box).
