Dr. Phil and the Fort Hood Killer
His terrorist motive is obvious to everyone but the press and the Army brass.
DOROTHY RABINOWITZ
It can by now come as no surprise that the Fort Hood massacre yielded an instant flow of exculpatory media meditations on the stresses that must have weighed on the killer who mowed down 13 Americans and wounded 29 others. Still, the intense drive to wrap this clear case in a fog of mystery is eminently worthy of notice.
The tide of pronouncements and ruminations pointing to every cause for this event other than the one obvious to everyone in the rational world continues apace. Commentators, reporters, psychologists and, indeed, army spokesmen continue to warn portentously, "We don't yet know the motive for the shootings."
What a puzzle this piece of vacuity must be to audiences hearing it, some, no doubt, with outrage. To those not terrorized by fear of offending Muslim sensitivities, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan's motive was instantly clear: It was an act of terrorism by a man with a record of expressing virulent, anti-American, pro-jihadist sentiments. All were conspicuous signs of danger his Army superiors chose to ignore.
What is hard to ignore, now, is the growing derangement on all matters involving terrorism and Muslim sensitivities. Its chief symptoms: a palpitating fear of discomfiting facts and a willingness to discard those facts and embrace the richest possible variety of ludicrous theories as to the motives behind an act of Islamic terrorism. All this we have seen before but never in such naked form. The days following the Fort Hood rampage have told us more than we want to know, perhaps, about the depth and reach of this epidemic.
One of the first outbreaks of these fevers, the night of the shootings, featured television's....

It is all too typical of the majority of pshycoenablers to search for the blame outside of the responsibility of the perpetrator.
The truth used to mean something, now it must take a back seat to the liberal ideology. We do know one thing, reality wins out in the end.
The Muslim killer shot the wounded. If this monster had done the same in an abortion clinic - shooting the doctors and nurses - then shooting them again and again, Dr. Phil would call it a "terrorists act". As would all of us. But when it's a Muslim killing unarmed soldiers - well DR "EFFING FOOL" Phil gives him a pass... a basket of excuses - and liberal pity... I want to vomit.
Both the media spin and the conservative Americans are right and wrong on this one.
WHere the right is wrong (and right):
1) Islam is a horrible religion. Indeed.
2) Political correctness kills.
3) However, mass shootings are an epidemic in America and are not isolated to Islamic extremists. Clearly there is something universally human about the sinfulness which drives people to such lengths.
Now the liberal side:
1) They need to stop making excuses for murder and the punishment must fit this crime.
2) By the same token, the suicide rate in the military is at an all time high and if publicity of the shooting will increase awareness so be it. People REALLY need to understand the true cost of war...Imagine having just come back from war having committed hundreds of “mass shootings” and killing some INNOCENT children by accident in the process...
* As a Christian, I wonder what if just ONE person reached out to this man and offered him a different path from Islam—not just in word, but in deed.
How many Cristians are willing to sacrifice their reputations and eventually their lives to try?
I would like to know how many of the soldiers "treated" by the Fort Hood killer went on to commit suicide.

I know many “jail ministers” that volunteer in the local jails and prisons of anywhere I have ever lived. He will be reached out to in word and deed. Hopefully he will make a good choice before he is executed.
