That’s a week of eats for me.. one big chunk of beef
I wonder if any of these folks have ever tried the steak dinner at the Big Texan in Amarillo.
Man, does that resturant know how to advertise. You see signs for it 200 miles either side of Amarillo. Worst steak I ever ate was in Texas BTW.
Tutti Quanti! *burppp*
Well when you put on a challenge you dont serve the good steak.
Interesting link. Examining the menu, I didn’t see any price for those that eat the 72 oz in 61 or more minutes... any idea what it is?
Blow Chunks
In Ohio, we say “Spew chunks!”
I think it’s roughly $80; you pay up-front, then if you finish faster than 59:59, it’s refunded.
From the Big Texan website - the subject of this story has been there:
THE CURRENT CHAMP
The record was broken by Joey Chestnut on March 24, 2008. He ate the entire meal in 8 minutes and 52 seconds.
mark that
I think my granfather beat this record almost every meal...
I was going to say, they never have watched me go hit the buffet at the Bellagio.
Joey recently took the title from Frank Pastore.
Nothing better than chestnut stuffing.
