Interesting thing about your Civil Rights Act idea is that, if he prevails at any point, the other side pays his attorney fees under the ‘private attorney general’ provision of the act. The more they fight, the greater their potential loss. It’s a hammer the ACLU has used for years.

You are absolutely right. He should be on this without any waiting for a crimimnal prosecution. He can subpoena any evidence they have.
