Amin Al-Ansari: "God has filled people’s hearts with loathing for these [Jews]. Let’s take a look at the field of sports. Forget about politics, military issues, and so on. Let’s look at sports on the international level. How come there are no successful Israeli athletes like in any other people? They are abhorred. God does not let people be friendly with them.

perhaps you can convince [ Non-Sequitur ] that Islam is not healthy for the Republic of the US, Christianity, and Jews.
We have had a lively debate on whether I’m making generalizations about the entire spectrum of Islam - or I should be more “open” minded when it comes to kooks (i.e. the Islamic shooter at Ft Hood) - and not place the whole of Islam under the umbrella because one or two incidents occur involving a Muslim killing innocent or unarmed military/civilians.
my argument is that one cannot view Islam like we do other religions, cultures, societies - because of what Islam teaches and demands...but he thinks otherwise...

Thank you. My lot is with you and the United States, the only place on Earth that has sheltered the Jews and allowed us to really prosper. As to my relatives on the Upper East Side and out in the suburbs, they might just yet come around - sadly, it might take the destruction of Tel Aviv to do it. However, you should take heart that my cousin, raised in the most red-diaper doper baby manner, is now raising her own children to be observant and respectful of her religion. There is always hope.

I'd agree regarding the radical version only. Unfortunately that distinction is difficult to make. The Ft Hood killer attended a large Mosque, with a radical Iman barred from entering the UK due to his religious positions. Yet he attended, three 9/11 killers attended, and there wasn't a single warning from his fellow Muslims. If there are peaceful Muslims amongst them, they have to stand up and be counted. And they're not.
Should have noted this was from a TV broadcast, which in Egypt means state approved. You can’t make peace with a populace subjected to this in the media.
