This is one of the classic examples that PROVE that this travesty is about POWER AND CONTROL and not about health care at all. This statement above is about BUYING VOTES. Buying the ILLEGAL sector. Again, we are dealing with MARXISTS and not American citizens interested in running America the way it was founded to be run. THIS IS A MAJOR POWER GRAB BY THE DEMORATS and their chips are ALL IN.

Homeland Security Department Gags Local Law Enforcement to Protect ‘Privacy’ of Illegal Aliens

(CNSNews.com) – The Department of Homeland Security is gagging local law enforcement agencies around the country to protect the privacy of illegal aliens.
Under “revised” 287(g) agreements between the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement division and state and local law enforcement agencies, any information about local police efforts to enforce federal immigration law must be cleared through ICE before it can be released to the media or the public. DHS says it is doing this to protect the privacy of illegal aliens.
“The Privacy Act and the privacy policy provide protections for U.S. citizens, legal permanent residents and, in the case of the privacy policy, illegal aliens,” Kelly Nantel, press secretary for ICE, told CNSNews.com, referring to the Privacy Act of 1974.
Nantel said that although illegal aliens are not protected under the Privacy Act, it is the policy of the Department of Homeland Security to extend the privacy protection to individuals who are in the country illegally, a policy she said was put into place by former DHS Secretary Michael Chertoff, who served under President Bush.
“Any information regarding individuals encountered through the enforcement of federal law is ultimately protected,” Nantel said. “We need to be sure that prior to the release of information, an appropriate determination is made regarding those protections.”

Panic in a school; a close call
[An update in yesterday’s report about homicides in Ciudad Juarez mentioned that there had been eleven such crimes but that there were still hours left in the day] Wednesday ended with a total of fifteen execution style murders in Ciudad Juarez. One other person was wounded but so far had survived. Yesterday’s report had also mentioned that, in Juarez, four individuals were made to leave a car and were placed against a wall, where they were shot. The wall happened to be made of cinder blocks and made up the outside perimeter of a grade school. There were some thirty children doing exercises on the other side of the wall at the time, and four of the rounds went through the wall and narrowly missed hitting the children. At the sound of gunfire panic ensued and teachers immediately made all children hit the ground. Children inside classrooms were also made to be on the floor for ten minutes.
The killers on the other side of the wall used AK47 assault rifles; around one hundred shell casings were later found in the area. The killers escaped. Juarez has now had thirty-three homicides during November.

Police chief murdered
Just last Saturday, Juan Esparza, a Mexican Brigadier General and past escort for two presidents, took over as “Secretary of Security” [read: Police Chief] of the city of Garcia, a satellite community of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon. Yesterday (Wed.) he and four escorts were responding to an assistance call from the city’s mayor; on the way, they were ambushed by a number of killers in other vehicles. All five were killed in a torrent of assault rifle fire. Some 200 shell casings were later found at the scene. Afterward, the city’s mayor ordered the immediate relief from duty of all 70 city policemen and an investigation into their activities surrounding the killings. Military and state police took over law enforcement duties in Garcia.

Military reinforcing police in El Salvador
El Salvador’s Minister of Defense stated that 2,500 military personnel will be assigned to combat crime in the five departments [states] of the country with the highest incidence of homicides. Yesterday, the country’s president announced the assignment of the military to assist the National Police in law enforcement. El Salvador, (slightly smaller than Massachusetts) has had 3,673 homicides this year. A retired Salvadoran colonel, now a congressman, and the country’s Economic and Social development Foundation, have both criticized the assignment of the military for civilian law enforcement duties. They stated it shows a lack of an integral plan to combat crime and that putting soldiers out to walk among the people will only cause frustration when the violence does not diminish.

Some days ago, Guatemalan officials reported the seizure of a mini-sub smuggling cocaine in the Pacific off the coast of Guatemala. Poll shows gloomy view in California
[snips] Faced with a budget crisis that has forced massive budget cuts and tax and fee hikes across the state, just 14 percent of voters there say that California is on the right track while 80 percent say the state is moving in the wrong direction, according to a new poll....
Just four in 10 voters saw Attorney General Jerry Brown – the former governor, presidential candidate, and Oakland mayor who’s now the only major figure seeking the Democratic gubernatorial nomination – favorably, and 65 percent of Democrats and independents likely to vote in the party primary said they were dissatisfied with their choices.
Only a third of all voters approved of voters approved of Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s job leading the state, and 45 percent of voters expressed “disappointment” in him, while another 25 percent felt “anger” or “anxiety.”
Despite their unenthusiasm about the field, 77 percent of those surveyed said they would “almost certainly” cast a ballot in the race.
The poll also addressed California’s perennial hot topics: gay marriage and immigration.
And 54 percent of voters preferred Congress to change immigration laws to allow illegal immigrants to become citizens if they have clean records, pay a fine and meet other requirements. Thirty-nine percent favored an immigration overhaul that would emphasize stronger border controls and deporting people who are here illegally.
