Hunt voted for Obama. Does that matter? Of course it does, his judgement sucks. Just the kind of idiot officer I couldn't stand as an enlisted man.
I wonder: if Major Nidal Hasan had sent a certified letter to the Secretary of Defense containing a complete outline of his plan, a description of the weapons he planned to bring on base, and the armor-defeating ammunition he was going to use... would that have made it possible for the Army to “anticipate this tragedy?”
The Fox lawyer threw it back at him. The guy was making threats, endoring terrorists, pretty simple to see there was a threat.
I did 20+ in the Navy as an enlisted man and I would guess about 10% of the black enlisted community is of the Muslim faith and I'm willing to bet a small percentage of those are radicalized, so Hunt is either in denial or he was completely out of the loop being part of the Officers community.

We were wondering the same thing. Someone told me they had a choice, but I think they are told to not carry. I just found an article about it..will post it in a few.

IMO Col Hunt is just as culpable as the shooter in light of the evidence.
