The president does not plan to travel to Germany to attend the 20th anniversary celebration Monday of the fall of the Berlin Wall, drawing heated criticism from those who say he's ignoring a shining triumph of American-inspired democracy.
In this July 24, 2008, photo, then-Sen. Barack Obama is seen greeting the crowd in Berlin. (AP Photo) President Obama squeezed in a trip to Copenhagen last month to lobby, unsuccessfully, for Chicago to host the 2016 Summer Olympics. He plans to travel to Oslo next month to accept the Nobel Peace Prize, an award that even Obama has said he does not deserve. And this coming week, he sets out on a weeklong tour of Asia.
But the president does not plan to travel to Germany to attend the 20th anniversary celebration Monday of the fall of the Berlin Wall, drawing heated criticism from those who say he's ignoring a shining triumph of American-inspired democracy.

This is a man who could squeeze a quick date with his wife to New York at taxpayer expense, a quick trip to the Olympics Committee that fell flat on its face and can find time to run off to Oslo to accept his worthless award. But alas, he hasnt had time to go to Ft Hood either to visit wounded soldiers or console families. What a piece of work this guy is. How could we have done this to ourselves??????????????????
“... he’s ignoring a shining triumph of American-inspired democracy.”
He isn’t ignoring it...he hated seeing communism fail...
The man’s a Marxist.
Why would he attend a celebration of the fall of a symbol he admires?
Since when do communists celebrate the fall of the Berlin Wall?
This one is easy...he isn’t happy about the berlin wall coming down. He’d rather the communist run the world, so for him it’s more like 9-11 is to us.
Obama is only interested in going to Europe when it’s about him and his being adored and worshipped. Even he can’t steal credit for the fall of the Berlin Wall, so why go when it would be Reagan who would be celebrated in connection with the fall of the wall, not The One? Berlin served its purpose as a campaign prop in summer 2008 with his self-indulgent and narcissistic “See I know plenty about foreign policy because I am in a different country giving a speech” spectacle.
Behold a true American President unlike the Socialist traitor in office today not to mention the traitors in the US Congress:

in his mind, everything that came before him was wrong. I am surprised that he hasn’t spoken out against the revolution . . . yet.
“it’s good for everybody”
I just thought about what that really means-he’s saying that it’s good for those who receive the (stolen) wealth, and good for those who (are forced to) give the (stolen) wealth.
At least I could believe in the sincerity of the marxists when they say this, if they ever, just for once, included themselves and their wealth in the equation.
Not that I would believe in it, if they did. All that it will accomplish-forcing people to give up what their own brains/labor produces-will be to make people be purposely less productive. People will only earn what they must for themselves and their families to survive.
If he didn’t dispise the British so much, he’d be over there apologizing for the Colonists not paying their fair share (taxes).
How could we have done this to ourselves??????????????????
WE didn’t...it’s the useful idiots who forget what our country was built upon and think Progressive means forward, instead of forgetting the worlds history.
I hope everyone remembers how this bastard is behaving today 'cause when the next election rolls around Obama will suddenly start channeling Reagan again.
If there ever truly is another election.
I wouldn’t bet 10 cents on this red MF surviving till the end of 2010.
The list, ping
I pray for his safety every day. I cannot stand the thought of the man being martyred ala JFK.
