I would like to know, where are the peaceful Muslims? We are constantly told that the majority are peaceful. How do they know? Is there some electronic device they wave over people to say 'this one is peaceful but this one isn't?' How can they use a quantifying term such as "most" if there is no way to tell? Since the mantra is so universal, one must assume that there is some way they can tell - other than behavior - unless one means "most Muslims are peaceful - now - at this moment."
Since the Fort Hood shootings there has been a lot revealed concerning the warning signs that the shooter gave off. There were many. Yet, in spite of that fact, the higher ups did nothing about it and, instead, bequeathed to us a situation in which Political Correctness is killing us - literally.
I do not advocate retaliating against the Muslim community for the actions of a few; however, until you have a magic wand you can wave over every individual that tells you this person is dangerous and this one is not, do not expect me to not look at ALL Muslims with suspicion. Hasan was an American of Palestinian descent. He attended a mosque and for years lived without committing acts of violence. Then, like a sleeper cell awakened, he opened fire and 14 lives were lost including an unborn child.
The "Peaceful" Muslim community should be pounding at the doors of television stations renouncing this man's actions, but I don't hear it. Do you?
So, until further notice I look at all Muslims with a wary eye. I can do no other. When that one religion is seeming to breed thousands of Jihadis around the world that are committing thousands of violent acts, it would be fool-hardy to think otherwise. Oh, I will not discriminate against them. I will still treat them with kindness as I would any one in this country. But I will not trust them because I can not know who is peaceful and who is not. And, unless I'm wrong the government doesn't know either. Of course I could be wrong about the latter part and would appreciate being shown the secret to how they can tell - preferably sometime before I hear the words "Allahu Akbar" in some crowded facility somewhere.
If someone says you can't "trust them" you can't. Honest people know it goes without saying. If someone says "we're a religion of peace" it's because they're NOT. If they were, it wouldn't have to be said.

There ARE nice Muslims - peaceful Muslims - but they're that way IN SPITE OF THEIR RELIGION - NOT BECAUSE OF IT.

A new series on ABC Tuesday nights, “V” (actually a remake of an old series from about 35 years ago), rather aptly describes the Islamic quest for world control and domination. “V” is about a reptilian species from an alien planet, come to earth seemingly bearing gifts for humanity. They have disguised themselves with a biological body mask, which make them appear to be almost perfectly human - just a little TOO perfect, it turns out.
Not to give away the plot so far, but they have been secretly infiltrating this world for years, and a few of the members of the “tinfoil-hat” fringe had developed some information, not accepted by the authorities on earth, that these aliens are among us. One of these “terrorist cells” has suddenly become much more active, exciting the interest of two agents in the FBI, who track to the cell, and one gets herself admitted. The quick test is to make a sergical incision just behind the left ear, and when the skin flap is laid back, exposes a true human skull. If it is one of the agents of “V”, a patch of reptilian skin is revealed.
If the reptilian species “V” is taken as an allegory for the Islamic religion, then it is a very telling step for the ABC network to be taking.
Totally at odds with the editorial policy of their news division.
That is an oxymoron question. There aren’t any. Wake up America before you are all dead.
I view muslim as I do gang-bangers; they fall into two groups:
Those that are dead or in prison.
And those who have not yet been caught and convicted or killed.

There are 1.2 billion muslims.
If only 10% of them are eager to kill given the opportunity (an absurdly low percentage,) then we are talking 120,000,000 of the little darlings worldwide.
And since our domestic do-gooders (from the top down) feel comfortable allowing them into our country, any and all of them are free to come and "visit."
Try visiting Yemen or Saudi Arabia, or ...
I gotta say, I have a peaceful muslim gal who lives across the street. She is Iraqi and loves President Bush for deposing Saddam Hussein.
She claims muslim as her ‘religion’ but as far as I can see, she’s pretty much a non-practicing muslim. So that accounts for any ‘peaceful’ muslims in this country I think...

If you just revise your last statement to read, "Muslims killed or endangered by their fanatical brethren", it would be in accordance with what I have seen. Yes.
It’s like looking for a peaceful Mafioso, or a peaceful member of MS-13. The group itself makes sure that no one steps out of line, since the same violence they perpetrate on others will surely be visited on you, too, if you get out of line. In Islam, by the way, you can never get out - their own belief system says that other Moslems can kill you if you decide to leave the faith. Talk about institutionalized terrorism.
Someday soon this will reach a boiling point. There is a solution - create a crater at the location of the Great Mosque in Mecca. Better yet, send in some armed forces, grab their holy rock, and send it into the sun. At that point, give the believers a choice to live peacefully with the world, or die. Many more massacres like the one at Ft. Hood and I’m willing to support pre-emptive action.

They can all be little Shirley Temples and Little Lord Fauntleroys, but if they attend mosque and contribute money and volunteerism to the evil sect every week, they are enablers to the whole....and therefore equally as guilty as the thugees in their midsts.

The one in the WH is not peaceful, he only plays one on TV.
