The Muslim population of the United States stands the best chance of preventing any “Muslim backlash” from the Ft. Hood murders. Preventing much of the backlash would be as simple as Muslim leaders standing up and condemning in very clear and uncertain terms that what he did was egregious and no Muslim of good faith could condone it, period. No if’s, and’s or but’s, no making excuses. Just a clear cut condemnation of the act.

If they need some examples of how it's done the need look no further than the speeches and sermons after an abortion clinic is bombed or an abortion doc is murdered in the name of God.

You don't understand Islam. It does you no good to "stand up". With Islam when one Moslem has a beef with another Moslem who has chosen to not take it before a sharia court, what he has to do is sneak up on him in the night and murder him and his family in their beds.

Standing up and speaking out about Moslem atrocities is the way you get murdered.

I see no way out of this dilemma other than banning adherents of Islam from America. The belief system is incompatible with life here.
