Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the gunman who killed 13 at America's Fort Hood military base, once gave a lecture to other doctors in which he said non-believers should be beheaded and have boiling oil poured down their throats.
He also told colleagues at America's top military hospital that non-Muslims were infidels condemned to hell who should be set on fire. The outburst came during an hour-long talk Hasan, an Army psychiatrist, gave on the Koran in front of dozens of other doctors at Walter Reed Army Medical Centre in Washington DC, where he worked for six years before arriving at Fort Hood in July.
Colleagues had expected a discussion on a medical issue but were instead given an extremist interpretation of the Koran, which Hasan appeared to believe.
It was the latest in a series of "red flags" about his state of mind that have emerged since the massacre at Fort Hood, America's largest military installation, on Thursday.
Hasan, armed with two handguns including a semi-automatic pistol, walked into a processing centre for soldiers deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan, where he killed 13 and injured more than 30.
Fellow doctors have recounted how they were repeatedly harangued by Hasan about religion and that he openly claimed to be a "Muslim first and American second."
One Army doctor who knew him said a fear of appearing discriminatory against a Muslim soldier had stopped fellow officers from filing formal complaints.
Another, Dr Val Finnell, who took a course with him in 2007 at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Maryland, did complain about Hasan's "anti-American rants." He said: "The system is not doing what it's supposed to do. He at least should have been confronted about these beliefs, told to cease and desist, and to shape up or

I don't know about any of you lot, but this would have been about the time I put my fist through his face. That's just me I guess, then go to confession later.
Yesterday I heard a story from a British Newspaper about Nidal’s connection to 9-11 terrorists and that story was confirmed today by FOX NEWS. wait a day or less and the story will be confirmed.
Why trust CNN? Go to FOX NEWS for the true news. PS: I don’t work for FOX NEWS.
“Why trust CNN?”
I was being facetious with my comment...
The same reason his fellow officers didn’t turn him in — fear of retribution by those who can make or break them.
Ask any major American news organization (I mean MAJOR) say it plainly, and you will find there are few who want to put their necks out.
We’ve set it up now so that to facilitate the cover up only winds up bad for your health, if somehow it comes to light. To openly stand up and blow the whistle hasn’t been good for your health for years. Nobody likes a canary. We’ve all D&D (deaf and dumb). They dust off the hot seat for you either way, so I guess the bottom line is choose your poison.
Let's not jump to conclusions about him being a terrorist. Just because he's muslim, had Al Qaida connections and had made numerous comments like this before going on a shooting rampage at an Army post doesn't prove he was a bad person or a terrorist. /sarcasm of course
Amen to that.
The gates of hell will not prevail and neither will Islam.
Again I say Amen.
Didn't he run for Congress?
An excellent example of a Real Man.
NAILED IT!!!!!
He also told colleagues at Americas top military hospital that non-Muslims were infidels condemned to hell who should be set on fire.”
If this terrorist said such things to his collegues, what in Hell was he saying to the soldiers he was treating at Walter Reed?
I suggest that each one is interviewed, and put with an AMERICAN non-Muslim doctor to get further help as needed. They surely must have detailed records of all the military women & men that his person administered to.
Sorry it took so long to reply. there were so many pings to my name (archives), that your post got bumped 2 pages down on my ping page. I don’t recognize Col West’s face, but then I haven’t had the tv on very much until the past few days, or if I’m alerted to special reports on breitbart etc..
What do you think the outcome of his trial will be? We need more guys like him protecting our soldiers!!!
thank you...
I know. Sorry, I have a tendency to run my mouth all the time, even while posting text to the internet.
“Infidels should have their heads cut off, and hot boiling oil should be poured down their throats! They should be set on fire and roasted! Now, welcome, patient. Please lie down on the couch so that I may diagnose your mental condition.”
Politically correct...just as in the Clinton Admin...and now the WOT is a series of ‘crimes”,,,
It is doubtful these officers/Army doctors will be called to account when the Army General Casey says that it would be worse to ‘lose our diversity ‘ than to have soldiers be murdered.
Although mistaken, I believe the Army and the Admin are being blackmailed by Muslims “If you target us, we will create MORE Jihad.” ...looks like we have lost at home this time.
Or it was done *before* he started attending the Al Qaeda linked mosque. Possibly both.
Well maybe, but certainly if he started yelling "Jesus is Lord" "Vengenge is Mine Sayeth the Lord" and such as that, they'd be all over it like .. well you know.
I didn't even think of calling my mother or brother. Fortunately my son-in-law and my wife called me. Wife called my brother, who called Mom.
I talked to her later in the evening after we were released from lock down. She said she was concerned, although she knows it is a big base, and that I don't really have much to do directly with soldiers, other than the few in the office I support.
Still, it shows *I* was not thinking as clearly as I should have been. Co-worker's mother was calling him from San Antonio with updates to what was being said on TV. :)
