For someone who does not care about history, you know a lot of it. You ask the question:

History is witness to the stupidity of Chamberlain, yes. But at what cost?

You and I both know the answer, far too high a price will be paid. Still, history is on our side. In the words of Churchill:

Yeah ABC. Too bad it wasn't a 'Smith".

Like a 'Smith' who was a devout Christian. Who went to Church every Sunday. Who read the Bible. Who owned a 'cop killer' gun and bought five magazines for it (at least) and a couple hundred rounds of 'cop killer bullets' for his 'cop killer' gun.

And then... when Mr 'Smith' went on a killing spree and Shouted 'Jesus Saves' as he shot 43 defenseless people in a Meeting Hall, killing 13 (14 with the baby), it would have been much easier for you all at ABC, right? Why that would give you fodder to 'demand' tighter controls over those 'Right Wing Religious Gun Nuts'.

I bet Barry would even skip a couple of his golf games to be all over TV with Eric Holder and Janet Nappy saying they 'might' have to declare an 'emergency' and 'maybe' confiscate a few guns from these people until they're deemed 'safe' and present no harm to the public.

Yep. Too bad it wasn't a 'Smith'.
