President Bush always loved and supported our troops. He genuinely stood behind them and shed tears for them and their families. President Bush being the gentleman he is and following proper protocol probably waited and then decided to heck with it...he and his First Lady Laura were going to go and visit the wounded and they did instead of letting so much time lapse. God bless them.

I thought the same thing. I’ll bet anything Bush wanted to be there the night it happened, but thought it best to wait till after the sitting president made his trip. Typical of Bush to give Obama more credit than is deserved. He can’t conceive of a president who would be more invested in pushing his Marxist agenda than comforting our military.

I can also guarantee you that he didn't need the results of any polls, focus groups, or the opinions of his staff to make this decision.

Hear that ZERO? That's what a LEADER does.
