“Just for grins, I sent a heads up to Drudge.”

Good job!

Never has such a short blurb from the AP said SO MUCH!

I really think that the former President and his First Lady make a mockery of the hip-hop, give a shout out pretender thug and his first ho.

<The definition of class, President Bush and his wife.

You are so right. I was just telling my son that if GWB were president, he’d already be down at Ft Hood. I’m glad to see that, president or not, the man and his wife still embody class, something the Obamas can only dream about.

You don’t have to be a Bushbot to realize the man respects and knows what to do for our military.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the reason Dubya went was that he was concerned that 0 might not.

Yes, I miss him and the First Lady. While he wasn’t perfect and the Left and LSM were un-American in their treatment and tearing down of him, he was so much better than the POS we have now.

So President Bush went to visit the wounded soldiers at Fort Hood
While bambi went right over to Walter Reed where the killer hassan was transferred from.

Between bambi giving shout outs to people and saying not to jump to conclusions about the murders, then rushing over to Walter Reed, something is horribly wrong here...

Can you just imagine the relief these soldiers felt, seeing President and Laura Bush opening the hospital room door (after they knocked politely, of course)?

Instead of the loathesome Obama and his spouse?

Told and directed to STAY AWAY, physically and away from the media. Don’t even make a comment.

Where are Reid and Pelosi?

Makes ‘em easy to despise, eh?

Yeah.

Doesn't Raila Odinga's cousin have to send a "shout out" to his buddies before delivering any eulogies at the funerals?

"I want to give my shout out to my homeys in the back. So glad that you joined me today. I know that it was a long trip, but I am glad that you are here with me. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Now, please join me so that I can say a prayer for the dead Soldiers."

Oh, c'mon everybody. Look at the Big Picture!

George Bush is retired and doesn't have anything much else to do, so he can go out and grandstand whenever he wants. Besides, it's his fault anyway because these people were being deployed to his war!

After all, it's not like Obama has time to waste just visiting a bunch of soldiers. He has to run the country, and in addition today is a hugh day for health care and getting it passed for the American People is the top priority! Give Dear Leader a break, OK? /s/

This is not surprising. Even though many of us had disagreements with him on several issues, George W. was a REAL C-I-C and full of class, compared to this dithering idiot who currently occupies the Oval Office, to whom passing his socialized medicine, freedom killing bill is more important than our military and comforting the families of those killed. Politics never takes a day off for liberals.

Never before in our history has this nation had so many enemies within. Many in political office in the US Congress and at all levels of government have disgraced our heritage; disgraced all those that sacrificed for our freedom like my father who was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War; and forsaken God.

Give Obama a break.

He was waiting for the right moment to make a make a decision that will give him the perfect opportunity to put him in the best light and find a way to blame Bush.

I mean seriously, how many times will he have the opportunity to do a trifecta: Blame Bush, cover for his POS religion and give Soro a new talking point

Just watch. Axelrod or Obie will have some smart ass remark about this being Bush's fault, all the stress these long deployments have had on soldiers and their families. Bet on it.

Since President Teleprompter had to resort to notecards, he was simply unable to be a real statesman. You expect this consummate campaigner to be able to think on his feet fast enough to realize that a real Commander in Chief would have immediately without any hesitation, spoken about this terrorist act, without giving out irrelevant praises and nonsense to deaf ears?

Not capable of ever being anything more than a fantastic teleprompter reader, and worse yet, this just goes to show where he holds his respect and priorities regarding his military troops. Sadly, they deserve better, we all do.

I told my husband last night I’ll bet George had already been there and the MSM would never mention it.
