Funny post! How long can it be before we start seeing warning lables on TVs about the dangers of sleep deprivation? LOL.

Filling your head with garbage makes for a tossy and turny night... who knew?

And most people who die in car accidents ate carrots within the week before the accident. Therefore, carrots cause car accidents!!

“wake each other in the middle of the night for sex. “

TMI!

Hell TV sucks so bad these days I turn it off earlier and earlier. Thank goodness for Tivo and on demand.

My wife and I leave the TV on all night. We will occassionally (a couple of nights a week) wake each other in the middle of the night for sex. Neither of us like relations completely in the dark. Doing this does wonders for restful sleep.

No argument there! And in addition to proper amounts of sleep, solid diet and daily exercise for one's health, essential oils rock! ... here and here.

They didn't mention laying in bed for several hours while watching tv before turning it off and going to sleep. We only have one tv set and it is in our bedroom. I never remember the end of any program I watch after the 10:pm news because I fall asleep before it is over.

The link to the full story is broken so I’ll just have to make an educated guess.

The study was funded by a government grant to a university professor. He/she/it used their graduate students to compile the data which supported the predetermined opinion. Detailed expense reports would shown how much was spent on beer and pizza while they watched late night tv. Unfortunately those records were accidently shredded. Other records showed the poor tv programming actually puts people to sleep rather than keeping them awake. That includes day and night time tv. Those records were also accidently shredded.

The study was probably funded under the stimulus plan. The professor slept well while the students were kept out of trouble. Of course there were some problems at the bars where they watched tv and conducted surveys of patrons in varying states of awareness. That status applied to the surveyers and the surveyees.

Only the link buried under the word more is broken ... the other two work ... (solly, no edit key on FreeRepublic) ... but here's that link again ...

Clicky here ... this one works.

LOL. You have a great sense of humor. (Anything to do with being Irish?) -- On a related note, my family is at the ND game today. Go Irish!

Yeah, I usually look for a good comedy like Frasier. A good laugh before bedtime works wonders. Like you said, the newer shows stink.
