President Obama says "we cannot fully know" what led Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan to kill 13 people and wound 38 others at Fort Hood, Texas Thursday.
Hasan reportedly shouted "Allahu Akbar!" before the killings, wrote Internet postings justifying Muslim suicide bombings, considered U.S. forces the enemy, and opposed American involvement in Iraq and Afghanistan as wars on Islam. His rampage at Ft. Hood has the markings of an act of Islamic terrorism.
But in his weekly address, Obama says, "We cannot fully know what leads a man to do such a thing."

I'm actually elated he's alive. Now transferred to a military hospital, soon to be transferred to Leavenworth. The bad guys in Leavenworth may be criminals, but even they hate traitors. That's a great point; even in a criminal legal proceeding the standard is "beyond a reasonable doubt. " So the answer to Obama is "we do know beyond a reasonable doubt."

I think Obama should step up to the plate on this and send a real message to America.
He should issue right now a Full presidential pardon for this man and tell us all that he did so because we caused his actions at Ft. Hood.

“We can not fully know”. True statement. We never “fully know” why anyone does anything. We don’t need to. Many things are self evident. Like this example of muslim terrorism. We don’t need to “fully know” what drove this scumbag. We do know that his muslim “faith” drove him to a substantial degree, and that’s good enough for me.

Contrast that to “The Cambridge Police were stupid” in Obama’s rush to judgement in the Gates bust.
