In almost every MOS, civilians work side-by-side with us whether it is in a training position or as a fill in due to a shortage (civilian cooks and enlisted cooks work doing the same thing; civilian equipment operators and enlisted equipment operators doing the same base improvements; enlisted military police and DOA police doing the same jobs; civilian firefighters and army firefighters; civilian doctors and military officer doctors; the list goes on forever).
