An Army private first class from southwest suburban Bolingbrook was one of the 13 people killed in the rampage at Fort Hood, his family said.
Michael Pearson, 21, joined the Army slightly more than a year ago and was training to deactivate bombs, said his mother, Sheryll.

My friend's family is also stunned and grieving. Their beloved soldier, from the NW side of Chicago, was filing status change paperwork because she was 6 weeks pregnant. She is also among the 13 killed

Does anyone think that our glorious leader is planning a visit to Ft Hood to offer his words of sympathy?

Just horrible. I saw her picture this morning on fox news. I consider the number being 14 dead because she was carrying a baby..just so sad..my thoughts and prayers go out to her family

I don't want Dear Leader to go to Ft Hood. He is insincere at best and, at the worst, I'm afriad he might enjoy our sadness. He loathes the Military just like the Clintons.

Prayers up for all families harmed by this act of terrorism.

All thirteen pictures should be posted together when they are released by the families.

gee, don't get all "wee-weed" up about this. Doncha know it's Bush's fault for invading the Mideast.
I mean, our TOFUS went and saw the caskets in private (in front of 20 cameras) and is going to visit the troops in Walter Reed.
Heck, this is all Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from being called "names". As if enlisted men can bust a major's balls about being a rag head or camel humper.
I just prefer to call the malignant parasitic murdering punks... but that's just me.... your mileage may differ.

Apparently he’s announced he’ll be there for the memorial.

Beautiful girl..such a tragedy. Broke my heart hearing this last night

Apparently hes announced hell be there for the memorial.
Maybe he wants to give a shout out to his homies. Obama should stay away. He showed his contempt for the military yesterday when it took him over FIVE minutes to finally mention what had happened and read it from a script. Couldn’t even come up with a few words from the heart on his own. How hard is it to come up with a quick statement of condolences. Then he gave a “shout out” which made my jaw drop. I thought I had seem everything from this narcissist, yesterday I was even stunned

Well, we do all know that anything he says will be extremely insincere. I wonder if he will bring his teleprompter with him so he can read what somebody else wrote.
