I heard that Geraldo hoped he’d be tried in a civilian court — the meaning being, that in Texas, he’d automatically get the death penalty.

The UCMJ has the death penalty for capital crimes. It always has.

And the UCMJ does not have to get the entire civilian judicial system including ACORN and the ACLU and the liberal Supreme Court and all the rest...involved.

It's trial, judgement, execution.

It is not at all surprising that the Jaraldo the "talking head" does not know this...but then again, he's not the brightest buld in the chandellier, is he?
