Getty Images President Obama didn't wait long after Tuesday's devastating elections to give critics another reason to question his leadership, but this time the subject matter was more grim than a pair of governorships.
After news broke out of the shooting at the Fort Hood Army post in Texas, the nation watched in horror as the toll of dead and injured climbed. The White House was notified immediately and by late afternoon, word went out that the president would speak about the incident prior to a previously scheduled appearance. At about 5 p.m., cable stations went to the president. The situation called for not only his trademark eloquence, but also grace and perspective.
But instead of a somber chief executive offering reassuring words and expressions of sympathy and compassion, viewers saw a wildly disconnected and inappropriately light president making introductory remarks. At the event, a Tribal Nations Conference hosted by the Department of Interior's Bureau of Indian affairs, the president thanked various staffers and offered a "shout-out" to "Dr. Joe Medicine Crow -- that Congressional Medal of Honor winner." Three minutes in, the president spoke about the shooting, in measured and appropriate terms. Who is advising him?

He’s just a street ****** with a law degree.
Who’s advising him? Is that a rhetorical question, or a joke?
He needs his advisors to tell him not to act like a clown and give teen-age “shout outs” to his homies after our military people are slaughtered?
If he needs advisors to tell him how to handle the situation he’s obviously incompetent and not fit for POTUS, which he proved in spades.
It’s not his “advisers” fault, it’s his.

With each tone deaf gaffe by this poseur, ol’ Jimmah Carter has to be doing huzzahs and hand stands, knowing his “Worst President Ever” title is finally being passed on to someone more incompetent than himself.
And here’s a shout-out to all the one-time voters that foisted this POS on our great nation. From now on, please restrict your voting to “Duncing with the Stars” and “American I-dull”.

I had to force myself to view this charade.
EVERYONE I talk to is sick of Obama. They are sick of his speeches and campaign and do nothing and blame Bush game attitude.Everyone knows he is ruining this country beyond words.
WHY are no reps or public figure speaking out and stopping him?
I watched this live. It revealed O’s true self.
His compassion is faked. As faked as his photo op salute to the coffins.
They’ve been playing the incremental game for a very long time, and they’ve got very far with that game. America has quite a lot of marxism enacted right now.
I doubt they’ll rock the boat as you say.
There are less obvious ways they can gain more power than that. For example they could make it like some racist white guy or anti-abortionist kills him. Pow, democrat supermajority in both houses & whitehouse for 20 years.
Even better, officials in Hawaii that know truth about Obama's birth might decide to release documents.

Then I realized this guy doesn't really give a crap about our military and their families else he would have began with condolences, not shoot outs!

On election night, I saw a clip of him departing AF1 with Corzine, and it seemed that the salute he gave then was... an inconvenience. Compared to President Bush who was always crisp, smile on his face, relayed respect for those serving.

Obviously, we need them here.
Only one thing comes to mind: LORD HAVE MERCY! And I pray that—with all my heart and soul!
That salute photo speaks volumes on so many topics.
“Disgrace” doesn’t begin to describe this President. “Disgrace” would mean that at one point he actually garnered any kind of respect.
He is absolutely the worst thing to happen to the country.
No he’s going to do the photo op stuff and come up with some committee to look into this crisis at Ft. Hood... and his numbers will actually improve. He loves this kind of thing.
He’s a do nothing president....who likes to act like he’s doing something.
