Getty Images President Obama didn't wait long after Tuesday's devastating elections to give critics another reason to question his leadership, but this time the subject matter was more grim than a pair of governorships.
After news broke out of the shooting at the Fort Hood Army post in Texas, the nation watched in horror as the toll of dead and injured climbed. The White House was notified immediately and by late afternoon, word went out that the president would speak about the incident prior to a previously scheduled appearance. At about 5 p.m., cable stations went to the president. The situation called for not only his trademark eloquence, but also grace and perspective.
But instead of a somber chief executive offering reassuring words and expressions of sympathy and compassion, viewers saw a wildly disconnected and inappropriately light president making introductory remarks. At the event, a Tribal Nations Conference hosted by the Department of Interior's Bureau of Indian affairs, the president thanked various staffers and offered a "shout-out" to "Dr. Joe Medicine Crow -- that Congressional Medal of Honor winner." Three minutes in, the president spoke about the shooting, in measured and appropriate terms. Who is advising him?

He hates America, and operates that way. Everything he does exudes his distain for our founding fathers, our Constitution, our people, our way of life and our beliefs.
As he goes about ANY day, not just yesterday’s tragic day, he follows his format. It doesn’t waver. It isn’t a plan, necessarily. It is a VIEWPOINT.
He sees America as the a plague on the planet and wants to bring her down several notches, if not to her knees, while he is in office.
Once you see things his way, you’ll understand EVERYTHING he does. Everything makes sense.

I saw this live on TV. My mouth fell open when he started by talking about some stupid Indian conference. Obama’s indifference and outright hatred of American heroes is grounds for impeachment.
But... but the teleprompter had the shoutouts FIRST! It’s not his fault! And remember, he was appropriately JOVIAL at the shoutouts, and then appropriately SOLEMN at the murder announcement. Isn’t he just the most amazing speaker? He has such a RANGE.

Good One! One good thing about all of this is he just keeps revealing himself more and more along with his handlers, Axelrod, Rahm, Valerie and Soros. As I've said many times here at Free Republic, "I don't know, there's something every day. ." I've gone from it was driving me crazy, not sleeping, hand wringing, etc, to a "bring it on" attitude, the more he shows every day, the worse it gets for him. . as long as our country makes it through it. . You nailed it. He's only been in it for the adoration. He agrees with his Commie handlers, but his MAIN motivation is the love and attention he never got as a child.
Saddest of all for all African Americans is that Obama was chosen as the means for these anti-American handlers because he is black. Yes, he was a token. It wouldn't have worked if he were white. Obama was the walking race card. Sad, and a far distance from the color-blindness that non-racists, and Martin Luther King, sought.

But, I’m saddened that this is what I see in my president.
I watch him on television in the early morning hours, see the new daily outrage, and angrily turn off the television and head back to bed!
He is destroying us. And he knows he is.
