A teachable moment for those here who were condemning Fox News, Shep Smith, et al a couple of hours ago for being cautious and not revealing details until they were confirmed by the Army. This just shows how wrong many “news organizations” can be.

This information is from the General (I think) who was giving the news conference at Ft. Hood - that Hasan was shot but is not dead - is in custody - would not give a report of his medical condition except to say he was alive.

ABC News is now reporting that the shooter is indeed alive, and in the hospital with several gunshot wounds. He’s reportedly in stable condition.
