An old document called the US Constitution prohibits restrictions on the free excercise of religion and prohibits religion rests for government service. If you want to call for amending the Constitution, please do, but please don’t simply ignore it when it’s inconvenient. I suppose I should also point out that there are plenty of Muslims who are not waiting in the bushes to kill Americans and quite a few of the Muslims in the United States are here becaues they fled a theocracy and Islamic radicals in their home country and have no interest in seeing that happen here.

Freedom of religion, yes. But it used to be understood that certain lines could be drawn. For instance Satanism was not regarded as a legitimate religion. And peyote smoking actually was not a part of any Indian religion until a few drug takers pretended that it was.
Islam has a long, long history of rape, conquest, murder, enslavement, intolerance. As it happens, there were very few Muslims in America until Teddy Kennedy changed the immigration laws and they started pouring in.
Can we tolerate people who will never tolerate us? Who will murder anyone who tries to leave their religion or breaks any of their intolerant sharia laws?
