The question isn't whether members of the military commit murders, it's whether they do so at a significantly higher rate than civilians. And in fact, they don't.
That's not true for Colorado Springs, at any rate. The 10 guys from the same unit who've been arrested are responsible for disproportionately large percentage of the total killings in Colorado Springs. Not that our murder rates are very high to beginw with ... but even the Army has acknowledged that they've got a problem.
