I think that we will find that these are either terrorists, having to do with drug dealers, or a couple of guys that dont want to ship out—although that seems like a real long shot.
Add a third guy to the mix and it cuts down on the “crazy soldier” theory.

I’m retired Air Force...can’t speak for Ft Hood, but I travel to military bases in the mid-Atlantic region on a weekly basis in my civilian job. Getting on base (typically) requires a military ID card and a DoD decal on your car. You present the card to the security guard (typically civilian) at the gate, and he waves you through.
If you don’t have the ID card and decal, you must pass through the visitor’s center. Before receiving a temporary pass, you must present your driver’s license, vehicle registration and proof of insurance. You must also have a valid reason for being on base and the MP/security guard behind the desk often calls your destination to confirm that you are expected at that location.
A few caveats; first, the Air Force no longer requires DoD decals on vehicles, since all are stopped/inspected prior to entry. Secondly, it would be relatively easy to forge older-style ID cards, like those carried by retirees; the newer Common Access Cards (CAC), which contain a computer chip, would be more difficult to forge, but not impossible.
Third, the perimeter of any military installation is not 100% airtight. There are miles of fenceline, and gaps in patrols, sensor fields, etc. And, if you have “inside” help, it’s that much easier to pull off this type of attack.
Finally, FBI sources are tellling Catherine Herridge of FNC that terrorism is “not involved” in this shooting. For whatever that’s worth.

Anyone know of any terrorist websites that claim responsibilty before our government scrubs them.
They usually fall all over themselves telling us it was not terrorism (even when muslims are involved) No one has said anything yet, the left wing news is putting it in peoples heads that this was PSD or disgruntled soldiers, I bet even if it were terrorists they won’t tell us.
Has the wire tapping or other survellience methods been curbed that may have prevented this. If so Obama and Congress has blood on their hands.

I hope for the sake of soldiers on other military bases that they can prove that it's not.
If the shooters are Caucasian, they’ll be described as Terry Nichols types. Clinton made a lot of hay from the despicable Murrah Building bombing, as I recall.
Most military installations have converted to civilian contractors for gate guard duties because they’re using the active duty folks for the war fighting efforts. It also reduces their workloads when they return from overseas after being involved in the war.
There will occassionally be a mix of active duty security personnel mixed in with them, but mainly the rent a cops have control at the gates.
What’s curious about this whole thing is that I’ve entered many installations in the past few years and all were performing ID checks and pulling over larger vehicles for visual and sometimes, K-9 inspections.
As for some of the posters commenting on military installations being “gun free zones”. That’s not entirely true. Alot depends on the installation commander. With the exception of the barracks, those living in military housing can keep their weapons at home. I believe the installation commander still retains discretion over that matter.

The intent of Terrorism is not to inflict death, or destruction. The purpose of Terrorism is to inflice terror upon the population, to disrupt life and create chaos. By attackng the largest base in the USA; they are saying "We don't care where you hide, we will go anywhere to get you".

We live at Kings Bay in the early 80’s and not only would they check ID’s (even the kids at times), they’d get the German Shepherd dogs out and sniff search the cars. We’d all have to get out of the car and stand to the side. And of course, you never knew when this would take place.
The Little Rock shooter was a black American convert to Islam. That’s why we never heard about it again. He killed one recruiter (white) and tried to kill the other (black) but the latter one lived.
Usually the FBI announces that within the first 3 minutes, not the first 3 hours.
