Yep we considered trading in our giant, gas guzzling SUV for a newer giant, gas guzzling SUV just to slap Feinstein et.al. in the face....
But we didn’t because I’m waiting for GM to revert to private ownership before I buy another one of their products.
GM won’t ever be private again.
It may cease to exist, but to turn it back to a private Co. would be the nearest thing to impossible due to the debt situation caused by the retirement fund.
Recent GM SUVs aren’t worth owning anyway; the electronics on them constantly play games with you. My daughter has a Tahoe that locks its doors when they are open so that they cannot close, and turns on the wipers for no reason, and they won’t go off unless you stop and shut off the engine.
OK, I see; most of the money never even gets to the dealers.
Exactly. Light and medium trucks are what make everything in this country work. (and that's why Obama hates them)
I think many dealers haven't gotten their money from the program, yet!
We’ve had a good experience with our Escalade. It’s a 2007 so we didn’t really need a new one but we considered a hybrid.
Might have to go foreign after this. I just don’t like the Navigator all that much. But I love the big guys!
