Sandra Bernhard issues 'gang rape' warning to Sarah Palin

BY TRACY MILLER
DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER
September 19th 2008

Sandra Bernhard issued a blistering warning to Sarah Palin during a performance of her new one-woman show.

The Republican V.P. nom would be "gang-raped by my big black brothers" if she enters Manhattan, Bernhard said. Palin is said to be making a campaign stop in New York next week.

"[The gang rape comment] is part of a much larger, nuanced, and yes, provocative (that's what I do) piece from my show about racism, freedom, women's rights and the extreme views of Governor Sarah Palin, a woman who doesn't believe that other women should have the right to choose," Bernhard told the Daily News today.

From NewsBusters.org, June 9, 2009...

Seven months after Election Day, and the attacks on Sarah Palin keep coming.

On Monday, CBS's David Letterman on the "Late Show" shamelessly went after the Alaska governor and her family during his opening monologue, as well as in his "Top Ten" list.

Top Ten Highlights Of Sarah Palin's Trip To New York

10. Visited New York landmarks she normally only sees from Alaska

9. Laughed at all the crazy-looking foreigners entering the U.N.

8. Made moose jerky on Rachael Ray

7. Keyed Tina Fey's car

6. After a wink and a nod, ended up with a kilo of crack

5. Made coat out of New York City rat pelts

4. Sat in for Kelly Ripa. Regis couldn't tell the difference.

3. Finally met one of those Jewish people Mel Gibson's always talking about

2. Bought makeup from Bloomingdale's to update her "slutty flight attendant" look

1. Especially enjoyed not appearing on Letterman

The other day I was listening to talk radio on my Iphone. I accidently chose an LA channel. This woman was calling a female conservative, Ann Coulter (sp) a “d*ldo for Hannity’s *ss.” She also spoke of fel*tio and other sex acts pertaining to her. This was on public radio. This was the radio hostess, not a caller.

Communist scum, yes. But you forgot to include psychotic, lying, murdering, communist scum who would love to acquire the power to open concentration camps.

IMHO

I agree, but I also read the thread about those young soft ball players who drowned in their jeep... Damn... We can be mean for no real reason... I think people in general are meaner than we would like to believe.

Undercover agent Larry Grathwohl discusses the Weather Underground's post-revolution governing plans for the United States:

Larry Grathwohl:

"I asked, 'well what is going to happen to those people we can't reeducate, that are diehard capitalists?' and the reply was that they'd have to be eliminated. And when I pursued this further, they estimated they would have to eliminate 25 million people in these reeducation centers. And when I say 'eliminate,' I mean 'kill.' Twenty-five million people. I want you to imagine sitting in a room with 25 people, most of which have graduate degrees, from Columbia and other well-known educational centers, and hear them figuring out the logistics for the elimination of 25 million people. And they were dead serious."

[Participants include: William/Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, Sen Barack Obama]

April 19th-20th, 2002
Chicago Illini Union

This conference is part of the Center's mission of helping to create a more engaged civil society, working towards social change, fostering coalitions between theorists and activists, and combating anti-intellectualism in contemporary culture. It will be both a celebration of ideas and a rigorous examination of the roles and responsibilities that intellectuals play in society.

We introduce the “meta” theme of the conference by hearing “success stories” from diverse voices discussing their experiences intervening intellectually.

Timuel Black, Chicago activist; Prof. Emeritus, City Colleges of Chicago
Lonnie Bunch, President, Chicago Historical Society
Bernardine Dohrn, Northwestern University Law School, Children and Family Justice Center
Gerald Graff, UIC, College of Liberal Arts & Sciences
Richard Rorty, Stanford University, Philosophy

III. Lunch and Public Encounters

Alternative breakout tours led by Chicago activists. Tours of Bronzeville and other communities, and visits to organizations that are working on partnering theorists with activists.

IV. Intellectuals in Times of Crisis
Experiences and applications of intellectual work in urgent situations.

William Ayers, UIC, College of Education; author of Fugitive Days
Douglass Cassel, Northwestern University, Center for International Human Rights
Cathy Cohen, University of Chicago, Political Science

"It was at the Chicago home of [Bill] Ayers and [Bernardine] Dohrn that Obama, then an up-and-coming 'community organizer,' had his political coming out party in 1995. Not content with this rite of passage in Lefty World — where unrepentant terrorists are regarded as progressive luminaries, still working 'only to educate' — both Obamas tended to the relationship with the Ayers."

I definitely agree with that. There's a lot of such stupidness on both sides.

“Christian teaching does not recommend a passive response to evil at the social level.”

I couldn’t agree more. In fact, we are charged with protecting the innocent and cursed if we do not take care of the defenseless. (Corrie ten Boom and family are a great example.) The other day, I thought, “God, why do you allow lovely, innocent people to be abused and neglected, such as the case in Minnesota where the teenaged nurse assistants did unspeakable, vile things to Alzheimers nursing home residents in their care?” The answer came back to me clear as a bell: “It is not I who desire these things. It YOUR (collective) choice as a culture and a justice system to allow things to progress to a point where evil is called good and good is called evil.”

And yet Imus was crucified for his much less volatile comment. And what about the sportscaster who was skewered for mentioning that a Hispanic player had “gone out for a taco”? You’d have thought he had murdered someone with an axe. I’m so tired of this faux outrage.

The thing is that their consciences are so seared that they don't even think it's wrong.

There are still people publicly wanting to kill George W. Bush, and no one blinks an eye.

These people are evil.

“Jesus taught turning the other cheek primarily as a personal response to personal insult. Christian teaching does not recommend a passive response to evil at the social level. Quite the opposite. In fact, the most vigorous opposition to the left right now is coming from all those who get that stealing from a productive person to pay off an unproductive person is a moral wrong. Christians, Jews, and anyone else that gets natural law, are the front line of the resistance movement.”

Nice post and thank you

Having said that, this whole conflict is more like Othello than chess. Personal kindness to rude individuals can seriously take the wind out of their sails. Conflict can be minimized, if no wholly eliminated. I have won back friends and successfully resolved seemingly unresolvable tangles by enduring unwarranted abuse to a point of embarrassing the opposition. It actually works, this turning of the cheek. But only in the proper context.

Boy I know what you mean. I’m afraid there is going to be war in the country with the hate going on. We are two polar opposite nations. I don’t fear for my husband and myself, but I fear for my kids. A lot.

I think most liberals are made up of the perverse weird people who never were able to get along socially with anyone else from the time they were children, the kind of left out, outcasts. So they bring that bitterness and hatred to adult life and team up with all the other outcasts like themselves to bring down those who are socially, materially, financially successful and have happy lives. They are just rotten with jealousy.

The last sentence is the key. Conservatives have been acting a Gentlemen and Gentlewomen for far to long. It is time to pull out the howitzers and start blasting away at the worst of the opposition. Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Bawney Fwank, etc... Need to be vilified as much as possible. Every mistake they make turn into a commercial. Go back through their past with a fine tooth comb, give them the most intense protological exam ever, make the treatment and abuse of Sarah Palin look like kisses from a small child. We want them in a corner in the fetal position, sucking their thumbs crying and whimpering like a beat puppy. Then say "Now how do you like it".

If they begin to act the least bit defiant start over again only harder. Make if very clear that we can play nice, or we can beat them at their own game...

Either way works for us.
