Eighteen months later, Nevada Republicans have completed a count of all delegate ballots from last year's state convention.

A group of disaffected Republicans says it feels vindicated after a Friday night count of missing ballots from the April 2008 gathering showed three delegates for U.S. Rep. Ron Paul should have been sent to the national convention.

Paul supporters said they felt party leaders cheated them out of a place at the national convention when they abruptly recessed the convention before delegate ballots from the state's 2nd Congressional District could be counted. The district was allowed to choose three of the state's 34 delegates to the national convention.

The convention in Reno ended after Paul supporters won a rule change that allowed them to vote Paul delegates to the convention.

Don’t have to love Paul to know this was wrong.

Wow...it sounds like the Nevada GOP is in bed w/ ACORN, doesn’t it?

Didn’t the state party stop the voting when it appeared that Rep. Paul was doing well?

George Washington warned us about forming political parties.

And to think that some get all indignant when we say the parties are the same.

I fear that this could happen to Gov. Palin, for example. The fact that more people weren't upset at this is obvious.

Yes, he said something about “The Spirit of Party” in his Farewell Address...that’s why I left the Libertarian Party & became an independent after reading it in ~1998 after reading it. I have a LOT of respect for my AR Libertarian friends who turned me on to the wisdom & written words of the Founders. The GOP is too timid to even bring it up, & the Dims are antagonistic towards them!

The GOP is resembling the DNC more and more each day. Now if the LP would just get it's act together...

You don’t have to be a Paul supporter to see that it is the GOP PARTY that is our own worst enemy some times

Look at their support of Scuzzy in NY23 over Hoffman?

Then the RINO quits and supports the democrap...

THE NEXT TEA-PARTY MARCH SHOULD BE ON GOP HEADQUARTERS!!!

Indeed. I didn’t vote for Ron Paul, but what the GOP seems to have done here is very wrong.

And know one of the main proprietors of this fraud, Sue Lowden, is running in the GOP primary for Harry Reid’s seat. Last I saw, she is dead-even with another republican in the primary.

God I hope she loses.
