WTF?

You do recall the following, don't you?

1) There was no primary to allow people's true positions to be aired -- party officials in consultation with DC RINOs chose Scuzzy.

2) A month ago Hoffmann was mired in last place.

3) Sarah Palin spoke up, but did not campaign in person. A couple of Tweets and/or Facebook postings.

(Contrast this, by the way, to the multiple PERSONAL appearances that Obama(+) put in for Corzine and Deeds. FAIL.)

4) Hoffmann surged.

5) The RINOs did a double-pronged attack. The GOP hierarchy and heavy hitters -- including GOP chair Steele and RINO-turncoat-Newt -- publicly endorsed Scuzzy.

6) The GOP also spent $900,000 on Scuzzy.

7) At the last minute, Scuzzy dropped out. This had the effect of negating all of the GOP-cast absentee ballots, now guaranteed to be wasted for purposes of defeating the DEM.

8) To make the stab in the back DOUBLY sure, Scuzzy officially, and in public, endorsed the DEM. (WTF???)

9) Hoffman still came within 3% as a Third Party candidate, after coming from nowhere to remove the hand-picked GOP RINO quisling.

10) But all you can do is say "we lost, boo hoo."

I beg to differ.

Cheers!

(+)Have YOU accepted Barack H. Obama as your personal savior? (mmm, mmm, mmm)

Great summary - thanks. The only thing Hoffman screwed up on was conceding - he should have waited a few days to let the actual votes show how close he really came.

Fantastic summary! Well said!

It was also shown what a marginal hold on the Party RINOs really have. Doug got the lion’s share of support from the Republican side. Dede had the party hacks and (R) uber alles types. They were the splitters. They were the inflexible extremists who couldn’t be part of a team effort. Who wanted power first and chummy relations with the Dems not far behind. Like Rush was saying earlier today about other RINO players: they walked out of their own big tent.

Un-effing-believable on her part. She took the RNC money and then endorsed the Dem. I hope her next political appointment is as local dog-catcher.

I so much wish we could take the time and money and go through many votes especially in big cities and verify them. I am sure the Dems have loaded the system with fake votes as usual. It would not be just for this election but to bust them big time and for all time. Is there anyway we could do that even as an army of volunteers? Do we have that right?

Of course there is some disappointment since our candidate didn’t win, but check out the silver lining in #30.

This race was the beginning of the party re-alignment that is going to occur in the GOP if it is going to survive.
