Only 28% reporting at 11pm? What do they do up there, chisel their votes on stone tablets?
You get out into the sticks of Maine, and you are way, way out. Either up in the “County” or back west up near Rangley. They are small, but not archaic. Probably dealing with some old technology, but the delays are probably more due to distance getting the ballots back to the courthouse....
I’m in Maine and I cast my vote on a paper ballot.
There were seven ballot initiatives....with a pencil, you had to write an X or a check mark on a small square box in front of the word YES or NO for each one. Then you folded up the paper ballot and stuffed it in a slot in a large wooden box after you exited the small voting both.
In the larger cities, I imagine they have voting machines.
I’m in a small town in northeastern Maine.
The bulk of Maine’s population is in the south....closer to Massachusetts. Many Mass. residents have moved here over the years and brought their liberal voting patterns with them.
There are conservatives here, but we’re not in the majority.
I’m happy to say that in spite of alot of moonbats here, there are plenty of people who are not....also, the Second Amendment is very strong here, just as strong as in Texas.
