Geez, you’re easily satisfied. I don’t know how old you are, but I wish I could be your guide to the US of the 50’s.

The 1950s: high taxes, bland food (outside of ethnic enclaves), liberal Republicans and Democrats dominant, small houses. In the case of my own family, apartments/row houses near factories and pollution. No thanks!
Things a normal kid used to do in high school such as bring cherry bombs and rifles in a gun rack in the back window...today's kid would get life without parole.
