Do prdele!! (that's in Czech, and I'm not gonna translate it, 'cause it's not very polite...)

“the shadow foreign secretary for the opposition Conservatives, said it would no longer be possible to hold a referendum on the treaty if his party won a general election next year”
scum.

This was one of the issues that the pansy Conservatives kicked Maggie Thatcher out for, before they became a permanent opposition party. Because she was opposed to joining the EU.
You know, the EU sounds real nice, everyone getting together in peace and harmony, until you realize that it’s run by a bunch of unelected socialist bureaucrats, unaccountable to the people, faceless nonentities in Brussels who are not subject to rejection by voters.
At least when Europe had emperors and kings, there was someone you could focus on, complain about, or even revolt against.

seems logical for me, (btw. i think even if the czechs would not have signed it right now, a referendum in britain would have been allmost impossible) because its difficult to ask people if britain should sign this (when the government allready has signed it “and there for has agreed to it” in the past).

"everyone getting together in peace"
when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Power is not asked, or given. It is taken, and it is BEING taken. Should we thus ask for it back?

yes you could ask, but do you really believe that the EU would give it back to the british? (when they have a legal binding treaty, signed from the government in their pocket?).
i don´t think so. so the call for a referendum in britain (of course after the government had signed it) was a farce anyway (and they knew it). Because the only way to get britain out of this would be leaving the EU. btw. this is still possible (nobody is hindering them to hold a referendum in britain if it should leave the EU). but surprise surprise this is not even discussed. so don´t believe everything what a politician might say because of the hope that they can grab some cheap votes in the next election.

“yes you could ask”
I’m sure you do get the point, despite appearances to the contrary.
“(when they have a legal binding treaty, signed from the government in their pocket?)”
I’m not sure you do here though. “legal binding” has no relevance. Power is taken. It is not asked, it is not given, and it is not signed away.

it´s not given? correct me if i´m wrong but was the british government (WHO HAS SIGNED IT AWAY) not voted from the people living in britain? It´s not asked? Huh is there only 1 single party left you can “elect” in britain? Its taken? Have i missed something going on in britain? has a new miliatry dictatorship taken over the country or do you still can vote for the government? Don´t get me wrong you don´t have to like the current system but this will not change it.

Yeah, you’re right, it’s not polite. It’s appropriate though. Klaus is good, but he can’t fight all of Europe alone.

The point is all thee big parties (Labour/Cons/Libs) promised a referendum on the issue of joining the “Constitution Treaty”. However, before the British could have their referendum the French and the Dutch kicked out the treaty by voting no in their own referendums. Then a few years passed, the politicos came back with almost exactly the same treaty, but this time without calling it a constitution and with some other minor changes; the Lisbon treaty.
So, Blair resigned and Brown took over, and Brown reneged on the promise Blair had made because it was now a different treaty. No constitution, just an amending treaty. Absolutely nothing the ordinary people had to worry about. So, the liberals and Labour voted the blasted thing through in the parliament.
The new Tory leader, Cameron, then gave “cast iron guarantees” that when he won the next election he would give the people a referendum. But now he has changed his mind as well.
So for the poor British voters there are only two small parities that still promise to take Britain out of the EU; the UK Independence Party (UKIP) and the British National Party (BNP). Those two parties have unfortunately so much baggage that for the time being at least they only a attract a small minority of voters. My guess is that both of those small parties will make gains in the upcoming election, but it will not be good enough to gain any power.

Clearly. And it's getting that way in America. A propagandized population who don't know what the real issues are, a one-note media, NO different from Chinese/Russian media, except in style. All the things we talk about day-in, day-out around here.
This isn't just stuff we say that has no meaning. They are forming totalitarian rule. Britain has "elections", but they are largely a sham, because the electorate is so misinformed. They have almost no conservative information in newspapers, and absolutely none in broadcast media.
Many Americans assume other Western countries have these things like some free broadcast media, and a variety of conservative opinion in local press and a few national newspapers. They do not. We are VERY close to real totalitarianism. Britain is beyond hope. America still has a chance, but it must be taken NOW.

“(WHO HAS SIGNED IT AWAY)”
The “signing” is irrelevent. We are talking about issues that transcend contractual law.
The “signing” merely placates people into accepting the legitimacy of the taking.

This means the Tories have a good chance to seize defeat from the jaws of victory. A lot of conservative voters will be defecting to UKIP or even the BNP.

Faggy McSpam may not be speaking for the everyone. Hopefully he’ll be repudiated. Like that faggot who was ejected recently, hopefully because he was such an obvious leftist plant.

They knew full well the lisbon crap could be enacted by the time of the election when they “promised” a referendum. They didn’t say “unless it gets enacted”. This whole thing stinks, like British “politics” always does.
I have long since given up on it.

BNP is not an option. They’re standard jew-hating scum. If you ever browse their website you’ll find standard crap about “zionists” on there. They’ll never drop that as long as it’s those same people.
