It's a great day to be a conservative in Virginia. And, it's even more fun to watch the rats abandon their sinking ship. Both of the state's Democratic Senators, Mark Warner and Jim Webb, have been absent from the campaign trail over the past 4-5 days, trying to avoid the train wreck that is their party's ticket.

By comparison, my precinct in Northern VA is heavily D. When the polls opened, there was no traffic to speak of, nor any line. Pubbies may do well up here today.

Well, only the Mayor and one city council position on my ballot down here in NC today - but I still voted.
Slow, Slow day in my neck of NC.
Little hotter up there in Wake county for the school board positions - bussing vs no bussing.

Way too early to tell, folks. It’s going to be a long day, just like a year ago.
Don’t rest on your laurels.
Hound everyone you know to get out and VOTE AGAINST LEFTISTS.

We should try to somehow foment grassroots Democrat disillusionment in VA with OBAMA for throwing their local guy under the bus and not standing with them on principle even if an uphill battle. Yes, call it "Operation Backbite."
A lot of divisions and fissures can be driven within the ranks of the rats, in my opinion, this year and next. It will weaken Obama in some key, pivotal states even further that he will need in 2012 in his Electoral College column. There is no way in HECK that Obama could take Virginia from Palin in 2012, but it is a long, tough road. Now is the time to start peddling that chaos and disatisfaction on their side, IMHO. This will discourage them and force their GOTV numbers even more within their key constituencies, who were JAZZED about Obamba in 2008.

say a prayer for Chris Christie and Doug Hoffman.
I think Hoffman will win handily.
Please everyone pray really hard for Chris Christie to win.
As Judge Napolitano said this morning, corzine will not stay on as governor if he wins.
Corzine is planning to take a post with bambi...

Old Dominion back in the GOP column
With the state going Democrat in the election and two Democratic Senators, Virginia has a long way to go til it can be called a red state again.

I’m in Fauquier County, very few voters at 6:15. Fewer Deeds signs than McDonnell signs. My precinct goes 60% republican every time.

Voted in Arlington, the belly of the beast, at shortly after 7:00, and the place was empty, whereas a year ago the line was well over two hours long at the same place.
Landslide baby.

New Jerseyans, get some respect back, and get rid of that damn crook Corzine.
To: ExNewsExSpook
I am hoping for a landslide in Jersey.
I just finished putting what I hope is a nail in the coffin of Corzine's political future.

I was out the door at 6:50 a.m. and by that time, almost 200 people had voted at this particular precinct.Democrats don't get out of bed until about 2:00 pm. Republicans have to get up to go to work.
I don't mean to sound like a downer, but democrats aren't known for being early risers.
I hope what you saw was a picture of the entire day. I can't help but believe the American voters are smart enough to do something to stop the madness coming out of Washington.
