Quite honestly, I don't have any at this point ... the choices are pretty abysmal, and I include Sarah Palin in that.
What role do you see for Palin with the GOP?
Right now? Cheerleader, perhaps ... albeit one who will be easily demonized by the MSM. Overall, she might pad the GOP bottom line, but will most likely be a liability among independent voters.
How are the precious independents breaking in the Palin-endorsed Hoffman race?
Besides, with over 40% of the voting public self-identifying as “conservative” instead of “independent”,
it seems that this is the group to solidify,
not the squishy middle.
I honestly don't have a beef if you don't like her for president, but your disdainful attempt to portray her as the SNL caricature of the left borders on, as others have said, trolling. Clearly she is a winning element for the conservative base, which should be the most important factor for any Republican politician. Independents (i.e., squishy go-alongers) can be dealt with along the way, but without core support it's pretty much a moot point.
Ding. Ding. Ding. We have a winner! They wont like her will they? It isn't about her failing to include concise policy formlations with every Facebook post that got you so riled up now is it?
Seems Sarah just wouldn't be very popular with the media and your little circle of friends. Maybe we should try a McCain type candidate again who will try extra hard to make the MSN love him.
We certainly don't need honesty, leadership and conviction. /s
