NEW YORK (Reuters) - Wal-Mart Stores Inc on Monday announced its second round of price cuts on toys as the world's biggest retailer backs up its intention to be the "price leader" this holiday shopping season.
U.S. Walmart stores are cutting prices on 100 toys, like the Buzz Lightyear talking action figure and Star Wars light sabers, by roughly 20 percent to 30 percent.
The cuts are in addition to ones the retailer implemented at the end of September, when it began selling 100 toys for $10 each

I got a nice wool blanket in my pack, you're welcome to it...
LOL. I went to a CC once. Never again. The food was awful, it was noisy and way too expensive for the value.
OTOH, the KB Toys we had/have here is actually a pretty decent place to shop. Wide aisles nice workers. Can't complain.
I am a gun toting tea party nut, but the religious part you can keep for your temple of Wal-Mart...
Doesn't your state know it's dangerous to allow the mentally ill to have and use firearms? You sound like few of the patriots I know, dash. You sound more like the nut you admit to be, than a tea party patriot. I'd hate to have you at my 6!
I thought it was all one United States... I guess maybe I fought for the wrong country?
Nah,Gotta go to work.Wish I could stay home.((((Hugs)))))
If your captain will let me take your watch, just let me know... I'll pull extra duty for you anytime sister...
I can't understand your obsession with Wal*Mart. I have expressed no opinion about WM one way or the other so why do you call it "my temple?"
Also, if that is intended as a left-handed slur against Jews I am not that either. You only reenforce my opinion of you.
Go back to DU!
Am I to be impressed? I'm a VietNam era veteran, and have all the geedunk medals to go with it. Big deal. We're among a few million others who have served, but deserve no special honor today.
I've got to go the WalMart this morning. I need some more American made ammo, and another jar of Planter's Black Label nuts. I'll think of you to remind me...
What makes you so sure of my ethnic background?
I bagged my first buck at age 16, decades ago using a Herters, 55 pound draw, recurve bow. Combinations were just being introduced and were not very good, until later years when composites came into their own right. I now use a Diamond, “iceman” forged Aluminum bow .. get my tags every year.
This week I am out every day with pheasant season opening this past Saturday. I normally get my limit each day ... going to be tough this year ... wet and a lot of corn still standing. Going to be a lot of birds knocked down and not found.
There is only one processor left that I know of in a fifteen mile area, a small operation on his local farm place. He has the ability to hang and sharp freeze. I know him well and know exactly what I take, I get back. I field dress and quarter, but that is where I stop.
Traveling west you are at the mercy of only “word of mouth” got my first Elk 6 years ago. Incredible.
My then soon to be son in law was watching my wife prepare round steaks, and he said “I bet that is so fresh that it was “mooing” at you last week.” I burst his bubble quickly. Told him it “Never ‘mooed” at anyone, but may have butted someone on occasion.” He dind’t understand until I told him what was being served.
Yummmmm ...Delicious
If people had to hunt, find, pick or raise their own food, we wouldn’t have thes prima donna”Richard Craniums’ wtih there oh so righteous BS being shoved down our throat.
Turnips? You mean they don’t grow with wax around them. Baby carrots .. so perfectly shaped and sized? Cauliflower, I thought all heads were “bleached” white. A multi pack of skinned chicken breasts in cellophane .. makes me want to force my kids and grandkids to go out and kill a chicken ... so they WON’T forget.
The good old days WEREN’T so good .. but some things demand being understood and remembered.
Gonna go kill me a chiken ....
I’m the Captain Sir Francis:)Gotta run,God bless.PS,Your off the naughty list:)Hehehe Your gonna have me laughing all day.
Good for you grandpa, and thank you... now give me fifty...
Whew... no article fifteen for fraternization... thank you captain...
Sorry, child, I only take orders from superiors!
The adjacent Sam's Club, however, has their own butcher staff and sells Choice....very good stuff.
The Kay Bee Toys we had suffered from too small a store. They tried to put 10 gallons fo stuff in a 5 gallon bucket.
I have small grandchildren, so I’m still subject to Chuckie Cheese.
Even though I’m in a wheelchair, I still like to hunt. And I have good friends who accompany me and help out.
I am good with a knife, and once I get someone to help out with gutting and skinning a deer, I do my own butchering. I have friends who will bring me venison because I make the best jerky ever! (their words, not mine!) Both of my sons have been taught well, and both are crack shots!
I live in the woods of PA along the Appalachian Trail, so if things get bad, we have plenty of game, and a stream in the back yard.
While I think it’s a shame that most people are clueless when it comes to the reality of where their food comes from and how it gets there, I’m not losing any sleep feeling sorry for them. They’re ignorant by choice.
As for your comment about “the good old days”, I don’t know about you, but I always thought (still do) that even though they were challenging, they were fun, and I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything. Because it made me the “wise old redneck” I am today!
I wanted a cheapo plastic microscope, so I went to Wally World.
6 million kinds of transformer toys but little or nothing scientific in nature.
Ended up getting a very nice Collegiate model (about a $600 dollar scope) at the state surplus store for forty bucks.
