A Daggett spokesman acknowledges that Daggetts claim on MSNBC was incorrect.
She never contacted us asking us to drop out, Daggett spokesman Tom Johnson told ABC News.
Johnson said Daggett got the incorrect impression about Palin from people on his campaign bus who themselves were mistaken and relying on an unsubstantiated blog item.
Someone wrote mistakenly on a blog that Sarah Palin asked Chris Daggett to drop out of the race, said Johnson.
Kevin Gass, a volunteer traveling on the Daggett campaign bus, heard the incorrect Palin item, assumed that it was true and twittered about it from the Daggett campaign bus.

Mooks.
bah
The lies are in their DNA
Daggett was campaigning in the parking lot of Giants Stadium yesterday and was ordered by the police to cease and desist. It’s against the law to solicit in any way at that facility.
Daggett simply ignored the law.
HAR!!! When Palin speaks, Merrill Lynch listens. What a difference a few months makes. She could NOW drop a pin in the forest and everyone would hear it. That is SOOOO COOOOL!
But but I heard everyone in the msm say that Sarah Palin was so over.
She dropped out and now she has nothing to offer.
Wonder how the crow tastes.
I could not make this up, tweeted Gass. Sarah Palin just asked Chris to pull out of race. Republicans getting scared much?
Actually, it looks like Gass had no trouble at all making this up. Someone needs to ask the Daggett campaign what blog they saw this on. I've a strong suspicion that they made that up too.
They’ll say it tastes like chicken. Everything tastes like chicken when you don’t really want to taste it. I wonder how they’ll handle the black feathers stuck between their teeth though.
The question as to whether Sarah Palin asked that he drop out does not ask the pertinent question: Chris Daggett, did you drop out of the race?
I have my own question: Chris Daggett, it you have not dropped out of the race, why don't you drop out of the race?
One good reason Chris Daggett should drop out of the race is he cannot be trusted. We know for a fact he cannot be trusted with conservative values. Now he is showing that he makes up stories to slander others. As Sarah tells us in her Facebook comments:
"Now, if a politician is going to play loose with facts like this, the electorate needs to know it.
So, to the good people of New Jersey, please know that Daggetts claims are false. Ive never even suggested he should drop out of the race. But, come to think of it
Oh yeah, THIS will help him./s Uh Huh. Sarah didn’t do anything, but he dissed her anyway. So really, she did do something, which was nothing, and just let the overkill train roll on. THAT will have an effect. Just watch.
Who was scared of whom here?
Hehe...this is all so funny! When Palin comes out and asks Daggett to get out - he had better...heh. That is the power of Palin... Thanks goodness, she has not yet made that pronouncement so he continue to draw a minuscule crowd...
Hey, that’s okay, When the time if ripe, Palin will announce the winner...and the MSM will guffaw... Am I dreaming?
This was even funnier than Scuzzy endorsing the democrat. He reacts to a report of a tweet? LMAO
I am waiting for the apology . . . crickets . . .
Must be a Liberal disease. Wonder why they even bothered to retract?
Translation=I mispoke or double translation=I lie, I lie.

Speaks volumes, more so than he intended.
libs have surrounded themselves with CHILDREN, and uneducated children at that.....the idea that they would check a source probably never occurred to them......kind of like promising ‘world peace’ - it SOUNDS good, doesn’t it?
