The tent just let in the voters and not a handful of people in a smoke filled room deciding who we vote for. The people of NY just scooped up the poop in the tent and threw it out.

You worry about your tent and we’ll worry about ours. More “projection” from our friends.

"I think somebody can go pick the tent up and throw it out in lake Ontario somewhere, because it don’t exist no more," Carville said.

Why is it that RAT PUNDITS sound like high school drop outs when they talk?

From the ‘Secret Liberal/Democrat Lexicon’...

“Compromise” = ‘I get my way..’

“Bipartisan” = ‘I get my way, and you tell me how WONDERFUL I am..’

“Big Tent” = ‘We’re all Socialists, now..’

Fortunately, poisonous knuckle draggers like carville don’t get to decide what the Republican party is and should be. This lying creep gets no vote.

"I have an announcement to make. Ronald Reagan’s big tent just collapsed in Upstate New York. It no longer exists," Democratic strategist James Carville said Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union."

Carville either needs a history lesson on Reagan or is making a pathetic attempt to mischaracterize him. Regan couldn't have been more against the big tent mentality espoused by the OP(formerly the GOP) as reflected in the Reagan quotes below:

"We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldn't make any sense at all." – Ronald Reagan, 1965

“A political party cannot be all things to all people. It must represent certain fundamental beliefs which must not be compromised to political expediency or simply to swell its numbers.” – Ronald Reagan, CPAC address, 1975

Carville is a grade A jackass. He’s a demagogue. He should be punched in the mouth and in the groin at the same time. THE GOP is only getting rid of the RINO dems that infiltrated it.

Reagan’s big tent included conservatives, unlike today’s GOP which wants to exclude us. Scuzzy’s platform didn’t include one conservative idea - she is a left winger down the line.

"...if you don’t check the necessary boxes, then they’re going to primary you..."--Carville

I never have really understood why Socialists and the new millennium democrat think in the way they do. I don't think I really want to scar my soul with that type of thinking, but every once in a while they will make a statement manifesting their thinking processes and how they are truly scarred in their approach of fundamentals.

In the above quote, we find the perspective of the socialist democrat who is the furthest from thinking as a true Democrat as is possible. He places the primary as a context for removing power in a negative adversarial attack, instead of the primary as a mechanism selecting candidates by popular public support amongst an educated voting base.

There is something indicative of a person who thinks in a most unAmerican fashion, expressing the primary system in such antagonistic and adversarial approach.

IMHO, such quotes manifest more about today's unfaithful democratic socialist thinking than nearly anything else he may have expressed.

ROFLOL! Carville is projecting what he wants right now not what the truth is. Truth is that when republican’s run consevative candidates they win therefore democrats want us to run rhinos so they can win.The should be scared conservatives tend to reverse what the liberals hold dear. Now if we could only find one brave enough to tell the people the truth, that we are broke and all of us are going to have to take a cut to out promised benefits. No more free ride for welfare recipients, current social security benefits frozen for as many years as it needs to be,future social security recipients need to be older when collecting and also will take cuts, and whatever else needs to be done to get us back to being solvent!

I don't think they're ‘reveling’ in it at all. I think they're scared to death at a resurgence of Conservative power, a power which Reagan used to destroy them twice at the ballot box.

Wasn’t a drunkin Carvill charged with exposing himself to interns or something like that?

Who listens to this fruitcake anyway, besides other fruitcakes?

Why do we care what Carville says? I am much more interested in Palin, Rush, Glen, and others - as I know that they want conservatives to WIN.
