To: County Agent Hank Kimball

I agree with you. If not for Newt, we would be in the boat we now find ourselves back in the 90s. He made a huge mistake with endorsing the RINO woman, but I think he did it because he was worried about splitting the ticket and threw his hat in the ring of the person he thought had the best chance of winning.

Newt knows how important it is to take back the House and get Pelosi out of control. Winning the battles, but not winning the war will lose us our country. So.... I’m cutting him some slack. I owe him respect for what he’s done in the past and what I think he was trying to do for our future, however wrong-headed it was.

The problem is the rino's aren't fighting for conservative principles, they are fighting to be invited to the 'right cocktail parties' and conservatives are FED up and fighting back. Newt should have seen it coming considering his Contract with America was so powerful. He missed the boat on this and global warming to name a few.

I’m glad to read your comments, publana.

I agree with Dennis Prager that gratitude is an important and underappreciated virtue. And I think we owe Newt more gratitude than he gets on this forum.....his recent errant ways notwithstanding.
