Walter --

Remember all those socialist-hollering, Glenn Beck-worshiping, tea party wing nuts from this summer's town hall meetings? If Sarah Palin gets her way, one of them could soon be a member of Congress.

Next week marks one year since President Obama was elected. The amount of money we have in the bank will be used as an instant referendum on his first year.

With Sarah Palin out there raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to stack Congress with those tea party lunatics, the media is watching to see how Grassroots Democrats respond.

Help us raise $500,000 in response to Sarah Palin's fundraising for the tea party nut jobs. For every dollar you give before Midnight Tuesday, a group of Democrats will match it with $2 of their own, tripling your impact.

Tuesday night's deadline is a critical test of our muscle.

I've been getting calls all week from media pundits asking me if Palin's fundraising means that all those tea partying members of the right-wing fringe finally have the upper hand in their fight to bring back the George Bush days of disaster.

I need you to help us respond in the strongest possible terms.

Help us raise $500,000 in response to Sarah Palin's fundraising for the tea party nut jobs. For every dollar you give before Midnight Tuesday, a group of Democrats will match it with $2 of their own, tripling your impact.

Send a message to Sarah Palin and those tea party nutcases who think they can retake Congress. But we only have until Midnight Tuesday to act.

Thanks,

James Carville

P.S. Next week marks one year since President Obama was elected. The amount of money we have in the bank will be used as an instant referendum on his first year.

The “group of Democrats” probably means Soros and his army of check-signers.

Translation: remember when the majority of the American people were voicing strong concern to ObamaCare? Screw them

Oh man that was too hilarious to read..Poor James Carville, who wrote the book about how the Dems will have power for the next 40 years, they won’t even have power for the next 40 days LOL. James, get a face transplant, that face of yours is hideous

Remember all those Serpent-headed and unctuous creeps who deliberately work every waking hour to intimidate the meek of the Earth (whom God loves), who never know when to shut up? Well, here comes the world's most obnoxious, once again using his charactertured patronizing and lectured tone and gesture in an attempt to get Conservatives to "shut up," or better, make them feel like something that the cat drug in.

Can it Carville. We will not "dial it down."

1992 called, and they want their Politics of Personal Destruction back.

Would that be Doug Hoffman?

I thought Carville looked a lot better when he put the trash can over his head.

tea party nut jobs

That is really going to help you Carville, you snake.

I believe it was Carville's idea to 'drag a hundred dollar bill through a trailer park' too.

I think Carville is projecting (again).

This is flat out hilarious. One week Newt is the one to hate, then it’s Rush, then Beck, then Palin. I wonder who it will be next week. Hate, hate, hate. That’s all they got.

Yes, tell those tea party nuts that we want lots more government in our lives. The idea that Americans can without the huge hand of government obstructing every move they make is simply preposterous. Tell Sarah Palin we detest her for having faith in the average American to solve their problems without a huge bureaucracy meddling in everything. We Democrats know most of our constituency are morons and need government to tell them how to blow their noses and wipe their rearends. And now cough into their sleeves. We feel the rest of Americas are probably idiots too and need us to tell them how to live. (smirk)

Using the strength of the opposition to stir up your base is a big loser if your opposition outnumbers you by a factor of 3. All this did was make the opposition even more determined to kick your lefty behind and make your base even more dispirited. I don’t thing James’ heart is really in this fight anymore.

Here's a clue: There isn't any money in the bank now and there won't be any then either.
There's your referendum.

socialist-hollering, Glenn Beck-worshiping, tea party wing nuts
tea party lunatics
tea party nut jobs
right-wing fringe
tea party nut jobs (he must really like that one)
tea party nutcases (see what I mean?!)

I wonder if carville honestly believes that this is a useful tactic? My neighbors look at me and see a guy who takes care of his family, tends to his property, flies the American flag, and generally treats folks with the same respect that he demands for himself.

I look at my neighbors and largely see the same things. Some are outwardly Republicans, some obvious Democrats, many others you just can’t tell. There’s not a one of them that I can imagine being moved by an acid-tongued screed like this.

The Democrats that I interact with have, for the most part, gone quiet. This isn’t what they signed up for and a lot of them are overwhelmed. They truly believed the hype, ignored the warnings, and now suffer from “buyers remorse”.

They’ve seen pictures of the Vietnam protests, the Chicago, Watts, and LA riots, seen the WTO protests, and the relentless anti-Bush protests. They also remember MLK’s march on Washington, and more recently the Tea Party Protests culminating with the 912 March on Washington. They recognize the difference between civil protest and anarchy.

I would submit that carville & crew may pick up a few dollars from the hardcore left, but by & large this is going to be another dhimmi flop.

If no one has noticed the resemblance yet, James Caraville seems to me to be like that character in that Ayn Rand novel, "The Fountainhead," Gus Webb.

Gus Webb was the best friend of the arch villian of "The Fountainhead," Ellsworth Toohey.

Gus Webb was profane; spoke in a low class manner; and set himself up as a person of the the common people.

Reel life becomes real life.
